Grand Visconti Palace Hotel

Really enjoyed our days at the Grand Visconti Palace. Rooms were ample sized. Beds were decent quality. Good for sleep.The staff was friendly and helpful. Even kind. Found some easy free parking in that area of Milan. Easy walk to the Lodi metro. And I really enjoyed the palace breakfasts, like I was the grand viscount.I would stay there again.

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui sia mai stata. Meritevole delle sue quattro stelle.Partiamo dall'imponenza della struttura. Si presenta elegante, maestosa e molto ben curata nonostante il giorno del nostro soggiorno ci fosse maltempo e pioggia a dirotto. Entrando ci siamo recate alla reception e con molta cordialità ci hanno fatto il check-in prima di darci le credenziali della nostra stanza. Molto gentile il ragazzo dietro il bancone a cui abbiamo chiesto dove mangiare in posti con cucina tipica accanto o nelle vicinanze dell'hotel che si è documentato prima di darci tutte le informazioni che gli avevamo richiesto. Ambienti comuni puliti, eleganti e molto silenzioso. Moquette nel corridoio pulita e ben tenuta, temperatura calda e piacevole visto il periodo dell'anno (Gennaio) ed il mio essere molto freddolosa. Camera spaziosa con vista sul cortile anteriore dell'hotel. Bagno grande e dotato di bidet il che non è scontato, neanche in hotel italiani. I sanitari erano dietro la porta ma questo non ha creato disagio. Letto comodo, unica pecca la poca scelta di cuscini che forse in quattro stelle mi aspetto. Un'altra mancanza è stata la smart TV ma probabilmente un hotel internazionale punta alla TV satellitare per la ricezione di canali stranieri per accontentare tutta la clientela.La sera ci è stato chiamato il taxi per uscire, la reception non è mai lasciata senza personale e ho trovato tutti molto cordiali. Al mattino abbiamo aggiunto la colazione, gentilissimo e molto educato il ragazzo all'ingresso dell'area ristoro che ha preso i nostri nomi per aggiungere al checkout il prezzo della consumazione. Colazione super abbondante, scelta vasta e di qualità sia per il salato che il dolce. L'unica difficoltà riscontrata come hanno detto altri è ordinare le bevande calde perché la sala era piena e il personale correva da una parte all'altra. In fase di checkout abbiamo elencato i prodotti presi dal mini bar (super fornito, OTTIMO davvero) e ci è stato fatto omaggio di uno degli snack. Esperienza davvero meravigliosa, super consigliato.

I will start with the positives. This hotel is in a good location close to the metro. The rooms are spacious. The front desk staff are attentive.The negatives are BED BUGS. Thankfully once we notified the hotel we were swiftly moved. However upon check out there was zero compensation offered. My left side is covered with bites and I have had to get all my clothes laundered to make sure I don’t bring them home with me. So disgusting. After discussing with the duty manager she tried saying this is the first case however I have since read other reviews and it is a problem for many years. And no refunds were offered for the inconvenience/trauma caused.It is a very old hotel none of the spa facilities are working the pool is shut and I was not aware of this until check in.Breakfast was okay nothing special. The staff were all helpful though.

Ho soggiornato qui 5 anni fa e mi sono sentita una regina per i servizi che ti offrono e per come ti trattano!Siamo ritornati per un altra notte in questi giorni e che dire.. nulla è cambiato come sempre Staff stupendo.. simpatia e cordialità e disponibilità non mancano per niente! È davvero la „nostra casa milanese“!Come ci è stato detto dal direttore! Onorati !!Non ringrazierò mai abbastanza tutto lo staff dell’hotel per come ci hanno fatto sentire !! Voi ci avete fatto sentire a casa !Per non parlare della colazione come sempre abbondante e qualitativamente ottima !! Ce n’è per tutti! Complimenti e continuate cosi !! During the booking process, I specifically requested two rooms beside each other and with a good view. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the assigned rooms were far apart from each other, completely disregarding my initial request. Furthermore, I was informed that if I desired a room with a good view, I would need to pay an additional 1700€ for a 7-day period. This pricing policy feels unjust and does not align with the promises made during the reservation process.I regret to inform you that there is a pervasive and unpleasant odor throughout the hotel premises, which has greatly compromised my comfort and overall experience.My experience was greatly hindered by the excessive noise from the street view, making it difficult for me to relax day and night, I couldn’t enjoy my time at your hotel.The breakfast offerings. Each day, the same options are presented, which has left me feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.Furthermore, I was disappointed to learn that the swimming pool was closed.Lastly, I must express my dissatisfaction with the numerous promises that were made during the reservation process, which have proven to be false.

Non posso dare un giudizio sulle camere, poiché al Grand Visconti Palace ci vado solo per convegni di lavoro. Quel che posso dire per il servizio, la posizione e lo spazio sua interno che del giardino è ben organizzato. Il personale molto gentile ed il pranzo a buffet di qualità. Inoltre dispone di un parchetto coperto privato, che a Milano risolve problemi di parcheggio

Hotel grande, old style con arredi datati e moquette in camera, ormai non più utilizzata per questioni igieniche. Camera doppia piccola per 2 persone e spazi ristretti (abbiamo avuto difficoltà a muoverci), bagno piccolo e angusto.Servizio al cliente molto scarso abbiamo provato a chiamare la reception dalla camera per 3 volte il primo giorno e 5 volte il secondo giorno in orari diversi non ha mai risposto nessuno. Abbiamo chiesto di avere degli accappatoi (fornitura minima nel bagno di un 4 stelle ) per 3 volte richiesti alla reception (siamo dovuti scendere al bancone perché al telefono non rispondono) non ce li hanno mai portati. Receptionist fredde e scostanti, mai un sorriso.Colazione nella sala chiusa perché giardino ci sono solo 10 tavoli e sotto ai gazebo non permettono di sedersi nonostante siano pieni di tavoli (abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni visto che abbiamo scelto l'hotel per poter fare colazione in giardino almeno d'estate e un cameriere alto brizzolato stamattina ci ha liquidato con un seccato non si può" e ci ha giratole spalle. Complimenti ancora per il servizio al cliente).Nel prezzo non è incluso nulla

The rooms are quiet and stylish, but small. The AC works sporadically; we had the temperature set to 21, but the room still got warm until the AC finally kicked on HOURS later. When I told the front desk, they said they control the temperatures. The WiFi is slow and randomly disconnects.The staff are nice. A maid entered the room without knocking (after our room was already cleaned for the day) and saw my gf in her full glory about to get into the shower. I went to the front desk to tell them what happened; they apologized and said the best they could do to compensate is free access to the spa. The best part of our stay was the concierge, Bernie, who is friendly and helpful.The parking garage is through a big wooden door that you need to press a button to open. It seems someone still needs to open it for you, as it would take a minute until the door finally opens.The breakfasts are good, but you need to ask a waiter for coffee, which is a problem because they're inattentive and have an attitude as if I'm inconveniencing them by asking.I would not stay here again.

Ottimo hotel.Ho prenotato all'ultimo minuto e mi hanno dato la suite presidenziale al costo di una doppia. Molto comoda eforse anche tropo spazio, considerato che è disposta su 3 livelli.Colazione da migliorare.

The hotel's appearance and location were pleasing. It was conveniently located with a bus stop right in front and easy access to the Metro. There were numerous dining and drinking establishments nearby.However, we were taken aback by the additional charge for accessing the swimming pool (20 euros per person per entrance). Nonetheless, the room itself was quite nice and clean, although we were surprised to find that there were no proper cups provided for drinking water.Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly. When we arrived about 10 minutes early, they asked us to wait, and even after waiting for 20 minutes, they responded in a rather unwelcoming manner, stating that we had booked the room only 30 minutes ago and shouldn't expect such quick service. This was puzzling, as we had made our reservation at least a month in advance. Additionally, they initially forgot to add the extra bed that was part of our booking, and only did so after we brought it to their attention.The breakfast was okay, offering various options such as eggs, fruits, cakes, and cereals. However, there were no fresh vegetarian items, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, the overall breakfast was decent, and we appreciated the option to dine either indoors or outdoors.During the night, we encountered some kind of tiny insects in the room, and by morning, we had several bites, though we couldn't be sure if they were caused by bed bugs. When we approached the staff about the issue, they said they would look into it.
