La Cucina del Gusto cooking school

My husband and I are from the states and didn’t know what we got ourselves into with this cooking class but I am 100% happy we did it! Carmen was so nice and inviting; she basically threw wine in our hands and said drink! Drinking makes it more fun, so of course we did what the chef told us to do! We got there at 2:50ish, started cooking at 3pm and didn’t stop cooking with Carmen til about 5:30/6pm. Then sat outside and let the waiters bring us the food we cooked in sessions! We made the noodles for Gnocci, and linguine (not pictured), and then chicken but spruced up Italian style with mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, prosciutto and salt! Be prepared to eat ALOT…like come in only eating a light snack/lunch, because I couldn’t finish my food. We left happy, full, and with new friends around 9:30pm because we got into the limoncello, oops! It was a long but fun evening! Hope this helps!

Carmen is extraordinary! She is a great teacher and the food you will make is unbelievable! The cooking classes are so much fun!

מושלם! סדנת בישול של ניוקי ופסטה בולונז. הגענו משפחה של 4 לסדנא.שף כרמן זמינה ועונה על כל שאלה מרגע ההזמנה.אוירה מקסימה. מקום מטופח מעוצב צעיר ותוסס. חלק מ העיצוב רישום חופשי ו תודות של משתתפים על הקירות ו התקרה של המקום.הכל מקצועי ומסודר מאוד.הסברים וסבלנות לכל גיל.שף כרמן דור שני ל'מלכת הניוקי' . משפחה של שפים בכל אזור קמפניה.יש גם מסעדה במקום בשעות אחר'צ וערב.איזו חוויה נהדרת.שעתיים+ של סדנא טעימה ומוצלחת.כרמן פשוט מקסימה ואת הסדנא,לא נשכח הרבה זמן!תודה כרמן!ממליץ מאוד!

Piatti davvero molto buoni, e personale cortese, ma abbiamo ordinato un primo e un secondo, ma quest ultimo nom è mai arrivato. Abbiamo chiesto a che punto fossero con la cottura del secondo piatto dopo aver aspettato almeno venti minuti e forse anche piu dopo il primo piatto e il cameriere ci dice che la cucina era chiusa e che avevano dimenticato di cuocere il secondo. Peccato il primo era davvero buono ma il 'non' arrivo del secondo ha annulato tutto il precedente.

Best cooking class ever!Carmen is a deadset star!! My wife and I were on our honeymoon and enjoyed the full Carmen Cooking class experience. It’s a must do in Sorrento.Free flow drinks, making our own traditional Italian pasta dishes under the MasterChef Carmen! We had so much fun!We were able to enjoy our pasta at the end and it was next level delicious! Never been so full in our lives! Thanks to Carmen for making our class so memorable and fun!

Today’s class was INCREDIBLE! Carmen and her team are so talented and hosted us beautifully. We made aubergine parmigiana, bolognese and limoncello tiramisù. We picked up great tips and honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. Thank you for such a special experience and memory, you are so warm and generous. Made us feel so comfortable!

We took a class with Carmen and it was a great experience. It was probably the best meal we had while in Sorrento . Carmen is so much fun and personable. My wife and I would consider her class a must do activity for those coming to Sorrento. Can't wait to get back home and try the recipes we learned.
