The only person I spoke to, the three times I went there, has never been neither kind nor helpful. The second time I had to insist to get a document that, according to him, wasn't there also the the first time I went there. It was there, also the first time, but he didn't want to check properly so I had to go to the state archive in Palermo, where they told me to try and insist at the office in Termini Imerese. I spent hours going back and forth and, in the end, I had to pay to get what I was looking for. A document that, according to what the guy told me the first time, wasn't there.
