Le Stanze di Eli e Giò

Da dimenticare!!!:...Avevo previsto di pernottare nel mese di Giugno p.v., ma sono capitato li per caso visto che mi trovavo ad Aprile sul Luogo e combinazione ho approfittato di verificare il pernottamento mio e di mia moglie in tale Location!....Che intanto non corrisponde a quanto descritto su Booking.L'unica stanza, di due, disponibile non aveva l'agibilità di una classica Camera Matrimoniale:era stretta e con un armadio piccolo e poco spazioso. A malapena poteva andar bene per una persona singola.Il Gestore persona scurrile e per nulla gentile; al punto tale che quando ebbi a chiedere del giardino di cui nella descrizione su Booking e facendo notare che le stanza si trovava in un interrato, mi ha risposto in male modo dicendomi che non esiste alcun giardino. E che se mi andava questa era la stanza!...E che non era vero che su Booking fosse descritta la presenza di un giardino!Insomma poco ospitali sia la stanza che il Gestore medesimo della Stanza!Non li consiglio entrambi!!!

Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario di una gentilezza estrema. La stanza, piuttosto grande, era pulitissima, con biancheria profumatissima e con un terrazzino molto carino.La struttura è completamente rinnovata anche se si trova in uno stabile piuttosto vecchio ma in via di ristrutturazione, a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal lungomare.Nei dintorni della struttura si trovano anche parcheggi gratuiti.Come unico consiglio, metterei delle bevande gratuite nel frigo bar… che è stato trovato vuoto.Molto carina la veranda esterna… anche se si trova leggermente sotto il livello della strada quindi non c’è nessuna visuale.

About the room-This was slightly misleading, we saw the balcony pictures and thought that we may be able to have some drinks out here on an evening, wrong. It’s a bottom basement room so have all the other buildings over looking you.The rooms itself was pleasant, nice modern finish.There was a yapping dog that could be heard often.There was a kettle but this didn’t work in the plugs/no mugs for the kettle.Few sockets In the room.The owner communicated to us via WhatsApp in Italian, nothing a bit of google translate couldn’t sort out.Nice air con which was great for the hot summer nights.There was several doors to navigate before reaching the room so it was secure in that sense.About the town-We were looking for a midway base for easy access to sorrento areas as well as having access to the bay of Naples. We looked at the reviews in this town and saw it was ‘bustling’ -I think they misspelt awful. Imagine the backstreets of Blackpool.Don’t think you can sunbathe on the beach- it’s full of rubbish and is a grassy beach.There was constant traffic on the road in which this was located and whilst the noise wasn’t bad, crossing the road is not safe in this place- you just have to go for it and hope you don’t get run over.Easy access to the trains- which are also not the best, late/hot/overcrowded. For us it was a place to rest our heads and we would stay out having 14 hour days exploring the surrounding area.If I knew what I knew now I would stay in Pompeii.

Molto molto accogliente. Curata nei dettagli. Angolo di tranquillità. Soggiorno gradevolissimo!
