Very nice trip with the cable car. Atm open daily 9-18. You can pay card/cash. Takes 3-4 minutes to the top. Enjoy the nice views of lake como. Go up, walk around the village take the cable car or bicycle down.

Parcheggiando comodamente vicino, o al piazzale della chiesa di Argegno, si può prendere uno dei mezzi di trasporto più panoramici del Lago di Como. In circa 5/7 minuti si arriva in cima, a Pigra. Due cabine si alternano il trasporto dei visitatori (anche i cani, seguendo il regolamento) inerpicandosi vertiginosamente ma con una vista magnifica aperta su gran parte del lago.Da fare e rifare molte volte.Le corse sono ravvicinate tra loro, e il prezzo è alla portata di tutti (consultabili in chiaro alle stazioni di Argegno e Pigra)

What an experience and what a view. The trip up takes around five minutes and offers unparalleled views over the lake and surrounding area. Pigra, a small hilltop town, is worthy of exploring and your time.The cable car does nt rock and offers a smooth journey. If you're not good with heights face towards the mountainside, as it is steep, reported as steepest incline cable car in Europe.Staff were friendly.

Pigra is beautiful little village with a lot of character, with lots of symbols, drawings, photos of cats scattered all around the village. The views are incredible from up there. Only problem is parking at the bottom near the entrance to the cable car. Entrance is fairly cheap - well worth a visit.

€4ish return trip. Fits about 10/12 people with a little spare room but 8 comfortably. Quick ride up, 8 walks when you reach the top. We did walk 4 and had stunning views of the lake. If you'd like a drink or a bit of food there is a cafe/restaurant at the top of the funivia which looked nice (never went in as we didn't need to) and prices seemed fair.

Unica nel suo genere, collega Argegno con Pigra , dal lago direttamente in montagna da dove partono diversi sentieri di varie difficoltà percorribili sia a piedi che con E bike noleggiabile al Capannone di Pigra, splendida location dove si può mangiare o prendere un aperitivo mentre i bambini possono divertirsi in un parco unico nel suo genere con in più tennis,bocce basket. Personale accogliente, birre, vini e molto altro . Da andare assolutamente.

Pigra is a great place to hike, even with smaller children. The path downhill is steep but doable with children above 6 years when they wear good shoes.The walk in the forest has no increase in altitude and is a nice walk in the shade of the forest.Cheap and good Cappuccino in many of the small restaurants in Pigra

Easy way to get up to the top of the mountain to the town of Pigra and look down on Lake Como and the town of Argegno.There is no parking at the base of the cable car so it's best to park in the town and walk to the cable car station which is about a 5 minute walk along the road which has very narrow walking areas.

€5 per person return.. the views are worth way more than that. Literally breathtaking - then you walk away, and turn round, and it takes your breath away again. Great little cafe/bar at the top too. Head to the Belvedere walk to see a full panorama
