NEVER EVER USE THIS PLACE. BY FAR the worst service I have ever experienced. They accept no debit cards and forced us to cancel our booking because the booking was made with my husband's credit card which we had with us but they wouldn't take because I was down as the driver. We both had licenses with us, both had debit cards and my husband had his credit card. No joy and we will likely lose the money on our initial booking which was almost one thousand euro. They couldn't amend the driver on the booking to my husband and couldn't guarantee there would be a car for us if we rebooked even though the car we had booked was sitting waiting for us. An absolute nightmare. Do not book with them. As I sit here I can hear other people complaining too

Do not rent from here. My electric vehicle was given to me with less than half charge and could not hold a charge. Had to recharge it three times in one short day trip, I was given a car with a defective battery. Am demanding a full refundReturning past 22:00 is impossible and they will try to charge you for returning the next day if your return time is later than that.Scam business, go elsewhere

It was really easy to return the car. Before returning it, I had a minor problem with refueling. He was really kind enough to solve my problem. I heard that you are going to be traveling to Korea, so I hope you have a good trip. I wish you the best of luck.

Be warned! Do not pick hertz!All their emails tell you that their policy is that you need to provide debit card and a drivers licence. We had these things plus a credit card but when we got there we needed 2x credit cards to go through with the payment. We even presented our digital credit cards and had no luck. On top of this, the woman was very rude and we were shocked someone like this could be in a customer service role.Luckily SixT saved the day- highly recommend them!

Ladri e truffatori, non usate questa azienda1 stella è essere gentili, truffatori incredibile e personale ignorante e maleducato, uno schifo incredibile.Dal loro sito ho prenotato una macchina letto i loro termini e condizioni durante il booking della macchina ed era possibile pagare con carta di debito, una volta arrivati alla hertz mi è stato detto che avevo bisogno non di una ma ben 2 carte di credito…Dopo aver rinunciato a lamentarmi con una persona che negava l’evidenza ho provato a cancellare la prenotazione tramite il negozio, probabilmente se gli avessi offeso la famiglia mi avrebbero trattato meglio, ma niente impossibile cancellare la prenotazione.Li nel negozio mi è stato fornito un numero non funzionte, cercato di cancellare dal sito e non potevo, ho chiamato il numero consigliato nel sito e mi veniva mandato un sms dal customer service e provata la stessa cosa dal portale .com stesso problema, dopo vari tentativi riesco a connettermi un operatore in irlanda che mi ha fornito una email…ora aspetto che la cancellazione venga effettuata ma dubito che succeda il no showing fee è di 95€ troppi da perdere per dei truffatori.. scam a livello mondiale

Worst service and seems like a total scam to charge the cancellation fee. The lady manager is a total jerk refusing to even acknowledge that their rubbish email policies dont match their actual policies.The email policy clearly mentions about international license if your license script is not in roman script.This is UNTRUE. We had to cancel our booking because they refuse to rent it out to us saying our UAE license is invalid in Italy. This is after renting a car MULTIPLE times in Italy and all over Europe (most recent being 6 months ago).The lady just came out of the office to basically tell us to leave.Viva L'Italia, huh.

Autonoleggio ubicato a pochi passi dalla stazione SMN in più difronte c'è la fermata del tram per chi, diretto in stazione, non volesse nemmeno fare quei 400 mt a piedi. Personale molto gentile.

Really easy drop off experience (the hardest part was driving through Florence). Once you turn on the road, there are big yellow Hertz signs directing you to pull into the parking deck. Once you pull in they immediately pointed to where we could park and we gave the keys to the attendant and we’re good to go. From there it was about a five minute walk to the train station.

They wanted to charge me 140 euroes with a damage that I did not make!! A very unethical way of doing business!!! I tired to reach by phone no chance!! I wrote to Hertz Italy reply with that it is recorded and you need to pay. Unfortunately as I waited 1.5 hours to rent the car (believe it or not it was the worst one) I skipped to check the car before I started to drive and in the same day drop off at Bologna airport the receiver pointed out a scratch!! I said that must have happened in a closed parking area as white scratches and I even was not close to a wall in that day! No matter what report was taken, and immediate charge of 90 euros damage repair and 50 euros Hertz administrative cost nobody knows what it is as I asked them as well!!! What a compliant way of doing business. Big shame on Hertz!!!!
