Silvia worked so hard to produce what I consider a brilliant piece of blackwork on my arm. What started out as general outlines grew to three dimensional life as she worked for hours. The difficulty I had communicating in Italian was not important, as she spoke German and some English -- we managed, and the results were more than I had hoped for.
