Albergo delle Spezie

We stayed at the Albergo for one week and our experience was okay. The location is really nice in the middle of the city with a lot of bars and restaurants. The hosts were very very nice and friendly. Sadly we didn't like our room. It was dark and hot inside and only had one window wich opened to an inner courtyard. Like that not a lot of light or fresh air got into the room. The shower also wasn't built smart because if you showered it flooded the whole bathroom. For us the breakfast also wasn't pleasing. There was no buffet so we got the same thing (toast, cornetto, youghurt, fruits and crispbread) every morning.For a one-week stay it wasn't the best but if you only stay for a few days it's okay.

Pessima esperienza. La mia azienda mi prenota una camera, alle 19 chiamo per avere indicazioni sul check in ma mi dicono che tassativamente dopo le 20 non è possibile fare il check in, anche se gli dico che arrivo da lontano e che sono comunque in grado di dargli un'orario preciso ( potevo essere li tra le 21 e le 22). ottimo!

Excellent service. Everyone from the staff were friendly and took plenty of time to help us locate the best things too visit in la Spezia. I’ve got a genuine feeling that they really cared and wanted our trip to become the very best. Thank you very much for that! Our room was clean and tidy - above all the bathrooms.Breakfast - also excellent!Location - you can’t get better in La Spezia. Just a 10 minutes walk from the train station witch get you to every attraction in Cinque Terre.Grazie! Molto bene!/ Mathias, Sweden

Staff is excellent at meeting customer expectations! Friendly and helpful, and always with a happy smile. If there is anything you need, they will do their best make it happenThe hotel is 10 min from the sea front and right on the main street

We went to this albergo this august 2021 and we had a real bad experience there with his owner. The hostel is well located and rooms are clean, that is why I give them one star, but the rest was a complete disaster.The day before we arrived they sent us a message telling us that the air conditioner wasn’t working and that we could book somewhere else. We understood it and never complained.But the owner was not this understanding with us. The day we were going there, our flight was delayed and so we lost the train that should’ve brought us to la Spezzia. Therefore we ended arriving there at 22h. We sent a message to the hostel as soon as we could to let them know that we were late, and their answer ar first was that we should look for another place to stay. Obviously in august and at 19h pm it was impossible to find any other place to sleep that very same night. We told the owner that we could not go anywhere else, and then he agreed to wait for us only until 22.30h for 20 euros plus. We agreed. Arrived there running and suffering and he told us to relax and that we had bad vibes… we were worried to not be left on the street!Then they never served the breakfast with plates… we had to eat it puting things on our napkins.Breakfast was served until 10am. Well, on our last day we arrived at breakfast 10 minutes before 10am and in very bad manners the owner told us we could not have breakfast, only coffe (breakfast they serve has nothing to be cooked). The day before, a couple arrived at 10am to breakfast but the owner never told them anything like that, they had breakfast normally. I don’t know if the different treatment was because we were young women.Finally when we had already checked out, the owner sent us a message saying he would charge us 5 extra euros because the water of the breakfast was not included (which he never told us when we ordered it). Oh, he finally discounted the 20 euros plus for the late check out not before asking us to express gratitude to him. Very rude…I had never recieved a treatment like that… totally disgusting!

Pessima esperienza, prenotato tramite Booking scegliendola in quanto struttura che accetta animali; dopo quattro ore di macchina arriviamo con la mia compagna per lasciare i bagagli e all’arrivo il titolare afferma esserci un peso limite di 12 kg per i cani ammissibili, quindi il mio cane di circa 17kg non può essere ammesso. Assurdo non venga comunicato in nessun modo ne sul sito ne su Booking, molto rigidi, non gentili e poco professionali nel comunicare le regole dell’albergo.. sconsigliato.

Posizione ottima,in pieno centro. Proprietario gentilissimo,cortese. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli su dove cenare in città. Camera confortevole e colazione super!!!

Pessimo posto ma non è per l'ambiente che anche se sono due appartamenti che ci è stato creato un hotel può andare anche bene ma siamo davanti un halbergatore che pultroppo non ha educazione e rispetto per le persone che questa è la cosa che conta

We booked a last minute stay for one night at this inn. This property is a hidden gem ! The breakfast out on the lanai was perfect. The glass of wine to welcome us weary travelers was very much appreciated. The warm, friendly, accomodating, knowledgeable and kind host provided priceless advice to make our last day/night in La Spezia and visit to Cinque Terre a perfect experience.

Non mi era mai capitato finora di essere maltrattato dal gestore di un albergo(se così possiamo definirlo)La storia.. io e due miei colleghi ...prenotiamo due notti in occasione di un aggiornamento professionale e ci vengono assegnate due camere..una matrimoniale uso singolo e un altra composta da due stanze comunicanti con un solo bagno..perfetto.Il giorno prima del corso uno dei miei colleghi ha un incidente e deve rinunciare al corso, telefono per informare che saremmo arrivati in due anziche in tre e lui mi dice che per la seconda stanza avremmo comunque perso il rimborso della prima notte .Accettiamo ovviamente ma al momento dell arrivo scopriamo che tale rimborso non ci sarebbe mai stato, e quindi abbiamo pagato una intera camera per due notti senza nemmeno vederla, a quel punto richiedo la chiave della stanza suddetta perche...visto che l ho pagata potro almeno vederla? O magari utilizzarla ?Impossibile..perche alla mia richiesta il tipo fugge via damdomi dell analfabeta ..perche secondo lui non avrei saputo leggere il contratto sul quale tra l altro niente di tutto ciò era ovviamente descritto...O FORSE PERCHE LA NOSTRA SECONDA STANZA LA AVEVA GIA DI NUOVO VENDUTA??Insomma....se potete...EVITATE
