Cooking Classes in Tuscany

The highlight of our Tuscan vacation was our cooking class with Erika Elia of Dolce Vita Tuscany cooking! She was a patient and wonderful teacher! Pat and I learned some valuable techniques and lessons! Simple food is not always the easiest! The hospitality was fantastic and the food was delicious. We plan ti come back next year and stay in her b &b and take more classes with her!

Erika is a wonderful teacher and a brilliant cook, and I can only give her my best recommendations. We chose her over many other cooking classes, and we were very satisfied. Erika succeeded in creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in her kitchen, and shared a lot of her insight in traditional italian cooking. Our family consists of children age 12 to 20 and my wife and me. Erika was very good at explaining everything in very clear english language, so everybody understood what was happening. It was a pleasure to eat the meal, we created, in her cosy court yard just outside the kitchen. We will never stop referring to what we learnt from Erika, when we cook italian at home.

Of all the stuff we did in Italy, I can confidently say that the cooking class with Erika was one of the most memorable and special things my girlfriend and I did. The food we made was incredible, Erika built a menu around a food allergy to red meat for our group, and she made everything seem so easy and possible.I cannot recommend Erika’s course enough, it was truly an amazing experience. A lot of other classes I looked into were hands off, where a chef would make food for you and has you do some light prep work. With Erika, we made everything ourselves. Diced produce, made the pasta from scratch, and made the sauces as well. Even the most inexperienced cook would enjoy this class and come away with not only some great knowledge on Italian cuisine, but also seeing how simple making food can be at times. Thank you so much for this experience Erika!

We had a group of 5 adults and 2 children. This was the best experience. Erika and Donne were both wonderful. Erika was so knowledgeably and explained everything and shared lots of tips and tricks with us. They made the whole experience so fun and engaging for everyone. Food was all absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try making it all at home.

This was the highlight of our family vacation to Italy. Erika makes this experience one to remember. We were 6 adults and 5 children (ages 11-17) and everyone participated. The meal we prepared was one of the best we had on our vacation. Highly recommended!!!

Our group of 9 had the most wonderful cooking class with Erica at her lovely Bed & Breakfast. The tiramisu she taught us how to properly make was infinitely better than any Italian-American version I've ever had or made in the past (now I know the secrets) ... and the homemade ravioli, aside from being so much fun to make, were crazy delicious! This cooking class and the dinner that followed ... combined with Erika and Donnatella's warm and friendly hospitality were PERFETTO, and I feel very fortunate to have had this experience. I truly can't recommend it enough!!!

Hands down the best private chef experience I have ever had. The food was incredible! She made us gluten free truffle pasta that was incredible- even the non celiacs enjoyed and had no idea it was gluten free. Highly reccomend hiring her as a private chef! I would love to do a cooking class with her on my next trip.

We had a great time with Erika and enjoyed a delicious home cooked Tuscan meal! Very much looking forward to sharing these recipes with my friends at home! Everything we hoped for when booking a Tuscan cooking class :) Very authentic!

Erika’s cooking class was the highlight of our Italy trip!! We had so much fun and laughs throughout the class and learned so much! We learned how to make tirimasu, pasta from scratch and three different sauces. All of the food was authentic and delicious. Our favorite was the butter sage pasta. Donatella (her assistant) even made fresh bruschetta for us. They supply all utensils needed, setup and cleanup with ease. Erika was super accommodating traveling to our Airbnb and was even willing to drive to a different city when our plans changed unexpectedly. 100% recommend because it brought our family together and was an experience we will never forget!
