Casa Chiara

Beautiful place --- very old world feel. Very close to everything in Siena old town. NO AC!!! So after about the 1st week in June you might want to consider other options. But beautiful!!!

3 seniors stayed a week at Casa Chiara October 2017.Position of apartment was wonderful, just a 5 min walk up the street to reach Il Campo. If you need supplies there's a supermarket a few doors away with plenty of eateries located all around the building including a great restaurant downstairs right next door. Make sure you make a booking as people were lining up to eat there.Owners Anna and Franco were only too happy to help in any way and met us at the appartment, taking our very heavy luggage up the stairs for us. You'll find plenty of info concerning Siena and all the attractions at the apartment.No aircon but we didn't need it in Oct. Everything in apt you'd need except an electric jug. I'm a tea drinker so had to boil water in a pot on top of stove to make a cuppa.The only down side was the very noisy students living next door who partied all week, some days until 1:30 and 2:30 the next morning, and when they finally exited the building the noise was unbelievable.
