Excellent stay!!

Wow - what a Find. Our friends from Hawaii told us about this place. A small rural town in the rolling hills of Piedmont. Want some great, remarkable, never heard of wines, want the local feel of a walk to town and an expresso with a friendly hello, want to hike the sunflower fields, vineyards and wheat fields where no one bothers you and you're always greeted with a friendly Buongiorno! The best was going to the farmers markets and specifically Mr Rossi's cheese truck. This is a great rural spot and the hostess, Maria Eleana is wonderful. Her recommendations for food (La Braja Ristorante - splendido), wines - got to try the Ruche, and places to see, walk, visit etc. are spot-on for a local experience. Our 6 friends and I (baby included) each rented a unit which were super clean (my pet peeve), comfortable and had all needed basic kitchen accommodations. We had breakfast on the deck, an evening glass of wine in the courtyard and watched the stars and lights of town from our 3rd floor window. Having dinner in the wine cellar was a bonus. Plan on a quiet stay. Slow down. Just be. If you want a local experience, with kind hosts and newly renovated Italian apartments, this is the place to enjoy! July 2022
