Engel and Völkres is known for their fantastic properties which are offered as well as its service but the employees make the difference to the rest who have great properties on the market. All in all we could not have had a better experience as a U.S. / German buyer finding and purchasing out home in Verbania. Flavia Dutto, our Engel & Völkers partner was more than exceptional. She was simply amazing! There never was a hurdle or task which could not be overcome and was on our side from day one thorugh the purchase and the after care support is amazing. We had so many fears to find and purchase a property in Italy and avoided this decision for many years. Flavia made the complete selection, communication with the owners and the acquisition unbelievably simple for us. The day she suggested the house to us we were captured and said this is the house for us or we will not find another one like this. She took all the fear away and was on our side step by step to explain everything and never coached us in one direction or the other. She was always in our team to help provide us with informationand options to make decisions ourselves comfortably. She was able to support us in absolutely everything from understanding the italian laws to organizing financing, notary, translators and we would trust her with everything connected to this adventure. Looking back we still cannot believe that this was all so simple and every hurdle was conquered. We would never have been able to do all this without her. She is a diamond in the rough so to say! She is not only a fantastic sales representative of Engel & Völkers but is always in your corner to watch your back and we are very glad to know her and consider her a dear friend. If we ever look for another property in Italy it will surely only be with Flavia. Engel & Völkers, make sure you hold onto that gem!!!!
