A small and interesting museum, if you're interested on how the view of the Sicily evolved, from a cartographic perspective. It's interesting to see how the level of detail of the maps increased with the knowledge obtained from both technological evolution and developing economical routes. Unfortunately, the museum is quite hidden inside the museum complex and we had to make a few rounds to find the entrance. It would have been a score of 5, but when we got to the museum, nobody was there, thought it was in it's operating hours (Saturday, 14.00) and it got lucky that one lady appeared and opened the door. Additionally, given the high number of foreign tourists, the display language is only in Italian, which makes it difficult to read and understand. So, charge yourself with patience and you're in for a nice experience!
