Really unique bookshop. If you aren't able to read books in Italian, you should still visit! You can also buy postcards here, hand made crafts (largely in an Arte Povera style) and meet the owner. The owner, Luciano, is an interesting man and has a fascinating story (see photos).

Artista unico, di eccentricità paragonabile al buranese Bepi Suà. È necessario conoscerlo e comprare una sua creazione.Ma è anche un grande fisico, i suoi studi teorici sino stato sottovalutati.

Ci siamo passati per caso ma è stato un vero piacere scoprire questa piccola realtà a Venezia. Proprietario molto cordiale e prodotti davvero interessanti!

Ogni volta che passo in Calle de l'Ogio non posso non mettermi a sbirciare nella piccola libreria che è allestita contro il muro. Trovo sempre qualcosa di bello da prendere tra i vecchi libri.Un posto dove si respira un'aria magica e particolare, non è una cosa che si trova facilmente in giro al giorno d'oggi.

An antique shop (or antiques shop) is a retail store specializing in the selling of antiques. Here in Venice it is not difficult to find antique objects, antique books, antique paintings. So it is here at the Luciano Antique Shop. Beautiful picturesque antique shop with a rich offer. It has everything, from books, old postcards, boxes, picture frames, figures, ceramics, paintings ....... Luciano is a very nice and kind person. The antique shop is located in a fairly quiet part of Venice, the San Polo sestiere near the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista. It is always a pleasure for me to visit this Antique Shop for the reason that something interesting is found again and again in the multitude of objects.

This was my lucky find in Venice. The owner makes sculptures with machine parts - recreational recycling, as he calls it - but it's with such an unique touch that makes them so very interesting and artistic. I have to go back there to take photos.
