Great tours in lesser known areas around Tuscany: such a dive into wild nature! We'd like to go back to discover a different route, strongly recommended!

Nicola was an absolutely wonderful guide!!! This hike was one of the best highlights of our vacation for sure!! He took us on a hike up to two little towns - one with amazing views and artwork and another with more amazing views and a small little restaurant with homemade Italian food that opened just for us. The waterfalls were beautiful. This was a hiking trip we will all remember for a very long time!! Can't recommend this strongly enough!!

Our Waterfall experience was fantastic and most definitely the highlight of our holiday in Tuscany. Nicola had planned a magical hike which not only included waterfalls, but a truly wonderful taste of Italian life and culture. Our tour had an excellent blend of history, geography, art and culture. Nicola was brilliant as a guide and was able to tailor our walk for all the ages in our groups; a teenager, very fit young adults and not so fit parents! Nicola arranged everything to perfection and for us all to vote it the highlight of our week is amazing. Really very highly recommend - a brilliant, magical time.

My lifelong friend and I engaged Nicola to take us a for a guided walk in the stunning mountains of Tuscany. It is truly difficult to find the words to describe how much we enjoyed the walk. The surroundings and spectacular views were obviously a highlight but the extensive knowledge possessed by Nicola on the geography, history, flora and fauna was truly wonderful.Lunch in a local Rifugio, bursting at the seams with so many farm animals was delightful and the overnight stay in a charming Agriturismo was outstanding. There is something special about picking vegetables in the garden and then eating them for dinner overlooking the mountain valleys under a glowing moon.Nicola was always calm and relaxed and he matched our fitness levels perfectly with the terrain, which varied over the two days in just the right amount. Finishing the walk with a refreshing dip in a waterfall pool and gelato was the icing on a fabulous cake.This was a wonderful special experience and we would recommend Nicola and his fabulous walks to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat.

This was a a very unique and unforgettable experience! I was already expecting something incredible based on the previous reviews and yet the experience still exceeded my expectations. Everything from the small group size, to the beautiful mountain and forest views, to the small mountain villages, and the drink and food pauses was perfect. Nicola has designed the timing of the pauses and the location of the pauses perfectly. The 10km hike was no problem for my group of 4 (between ages 25-40) and it felt great to burn off some of the pasta calories we had been accumulating over the past few days :-) We did this on a very hot day but most of the hiking was within the shade of the forest so it didn't feel too bad. Plus there are many fresh water tabs along the hike where you can refill your bottle and refresh your face. We learned so much about the culture and history of the area, and we did so in a very unique way. And then we were rewarded at the end with the most amazing dip in clear, cold mountain water. This dip washed away all the sweat and work we did on our hike and we emerged refreshed and rejuvenated. This is an experience that will stick with us forever :-) I cannot recommend it enough!
