I recently enjoyed a remarkable, two-day Venice tour, superbly arranged by the tour agency.Day one immersed us in Venice's rich history, with tours of the awe-inspiring St. Mark's Basilica and the historic Doge's Palace. We also had the unique opportunity to experience the city's charm from the water with a tranquil Grand Canal boat ride. Our guides, seasoned professionals, brought each site to life with insightful commentary, deepening our appreciation for this enchanting city.On day two, we ventured onto the 'Tour delle Isole', visiting the distinct islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Each island offered its own charm—from Murano's famed glass-making to Burano's vibrant houses and intricate lacework, and the serene ambiance of Torcello. However, if you wish to delve deeper into the beauty and charm of these islands, I would recommend taking a water bus for an extended visit.

If you buy a return ticket from Venice airport, it's better that you know in advance that there is an high chance that you will never get back to the airport.Despite being during a pandemic, we couldn't get any ferry back to the airport as they were all full.We ended up having to pay 140 euros (6 people) to call a boat taxi instead. And what's worse, is that the company Alilaguna doesn't do refunds and they clearly do nothing for their customers.AVOID at all costs.

We ended up buying last minute tickets for the Three Islands tour from the kiosk at St. Mark's Square, as it ended up costing the same as a one way ticket to Burano. And at the end of the tour, they can drop you off near the train station, so if you are departing in the evening by train, you can save yourself an additional 9.50 Euros on ferry tickets. The downsides, the tour was very messy, confusing and unorganized. We were told we would be departing at 11:00 and needed to be at the docks at 10:45. We ended up getting there at 10:30 and were hustled onto an already crowded boat, after the guy asked us English or Germa" and if we're sure we wanted English. We figured everyone had just arrived early

The worst tour!We purchased the tour for Burano, Murano and Torcello. Three islands worth visiting but for the lack of time allotted to look around. It lasted 4 hours with less than an hour alloted for each island. Very rushed, unfortunately. The tour provides nothing you could not learn on wikipedia in 5 minutes and little direction is given as to where anything is located.

We purchased the 25 euro tour for Burano, Murano, Torcello. It lasted 4 hours with less than an hour alloted for each island. Very rushed, unfortunate.Though the trip is probably worth 25 euro we wish we had just taken the public ferry and wandered around on our own. The tour provides nothing you could not learn on wikipedia in 5 minutes and little direction is given as to where anything is on the visited islands.

Bought tickets from Expedia thinking it would be more like a gondola ride. Instead it’s just a voucher converted to public transportation on waterbus. Nagging lady talked entire time and constantly demanded everyone wear masks and properly. It’s too hot to be wearing masks on a boat in the hot summer. Stay away!!

The tour was very simple. 4 hours were not enough. We went to 3 islands, but spend less than 1 hour in each.Murano was one I was very excited for, but only had time to go to the glass factory. The tour info was general info.

Inconvenient experience. We bought these tickets online, and received a PDF via email with the boarding pass for the water bus. Unfortunately, we got there and the man working (who was very helpful) told us that while yes, we’d already purchased tickets, that we couldn’t use the online version of the ticket and needed to go to one of 2 ticket offices in Venice, and show them our already purchased tickets so that they could print out a physical copy. They were not close to our water bus stop. We ended up having to buy an extra set of tickets so as not to take a later bus. Not the end of the world, but cost us more and inconvenient - why email the ticket if you can’t use it?
