Thank you so much to Paola and Nicola for spending time with us teaching us about Barolo wines and having so much patience us (beginner level), it was great pleasure to learn from you. We will certainly come back here next time we visit the area. Grazie mile!

Really nice enotica. The owner knows his region and its wines, he gives very good advices and prices are quite low. I recommand.

Very nice people welcoming you warmly and with very good advice

We had a really nice wine tasting there with some good recommendations. The wines were great and we've bought two of them. The prices are very fair. We absolutely loved this very friendly and personal wine tasting, the couple who owns the enoteca made it very special and one of our best wine tastings in piemonte!

Very good advice and a very welcoming cold Langhe Chardonnay on a very hot day.

We ran across this wine bar as we walked down the hill to the main piazza of Monforte from our hotel. We were glad we did and the proprietor was a wonderful ambassador and enthusiastic instructor on Piedmont wines. They had a free tasting of 5 wines that were accompanied by explanations. It was truly a treat to hear the owner's stories (he is a pensioner of the same age as the Barolo boys who made this town famous), as he speaks of the wines, winemakers, and vineyards.We found the prices to be the best in town (38 euro for a 2013 Paje from Produttori del Barbaresco!) And bought a bottle from the tasting as well as some other Langha tipica" products.He also recommended a barolo from Giacomo Fenecchio (Bussia cru) as an up and coming winemaker. We found it on a menu for dinner later that night and we found it a fabulous recommendation.Truly a pleasure to meet and interact with this wonderful man and his shop!"

We encountered this great place when visiting Monforte in May. First, the location leaves you speechless, it's high on the hill, and it's so beautiful there it hurts. But then you enter the shop and find yourself in the friendliest atmosphere. The enoteca is family-run and we were met by Matteo, the son owner. He treated us to some wine and grissini, told about the wines we were interested in (in perfect English) and helped with the choice. There are also different locally made products, like hazelnuts, olive oil, grissini, treats with truffle. I bought hazelnuts as well since it's also the region's specialty. Experience 10/10. It's the place run with lots of love and care. Grazie❤️
