B&B La Casa dei Tintori

B&B La Casa dei Tintori is seriously a home away from home for my husband and I, we love it so much and we know you will love it too!! Riccardo and Lavinia are the most warm, wonderful people, and we would basically consider them extended family at this point! They truly treat every guest like family, and that is exactly what has made our trips to Florence so special. I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars!We stayed at the B&B for the first time in October 2021, and had the most amazing time! The location of the hotel is so perfect, being right next to the Arno River and the Santa Croce Plaza, so its walking distance to everything on both sides of the river. There's many great restaurants a few blocks from the hotel, and Riccardo helps everyone out with a map print out with their favorite restaurants called out on it. Riccardo and Lavinia speak great English (makes me as an Italian-American feel guilty for not speaking great Italian haha), and they are truly invested in making sure you have a great vacation, experiencing the beauty of Florence the way the locals do. Like I said, their warmth as hosts made our trip so special, that when we got engaged at a winery nearby the day after we checked out of the hotel we were so excited to let Riccardo and Lavinia know the good news!When we started planning our wedding for June 2023, we just knew we had to come back to Florence and the B&B for our honeymoon! It was so wonderful seeing them again, and we had the most amazing time just like the first time we stayed! Riccardo completely surprised us by going out of his way to give us two wine bottles with labels that were printed with the picture I had sent him from the winery when my husband and I got engaged!! It was truly the most thoughtful gift and we already can't wait to go back to Florence again (hopefully soon!).

B&B molto molto carino e pulitissimo; ottima posizione poiché all’inizio del centro storico.I due proprietari sono molto attenti e gentilissimi: dispensano consigli sui possibili giri turistici/cose da vedere/dove mangiare e non siamo rimasti delusi seguendoli.Ottima anche la colazione, molto ricca e di qualità.

Splendida posizione vicino ai punti di maggior interesse.Comodissimo il garage a pagamento di fianco all'ingresso.Gestione famigliare, camera pulita ed accogliente. Varia la colazione servita dalla signora Lavinia. Ci ritorneremo alla prima occasione.

Personale gentilissimo, stanze pulite ed ordinate, finestre che isolano molto bene dai rumori della strada.A piedi si riescono a raggiungere la Galleria degli Uffizi, la Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Repubblica, il Museo Nazionale del Bargello, la Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze tutti in pochi minuti godendosi una camminata nella città. Anche Palazzo Pitti, il Giardino di Boboli ed il Giardino Bardini sono vicini da raggiungere a piedi.

Tutto positivo, ho soprattutto apprezzato la cura, gentilezza e professionalità della famiglia che gestisce il bnb e si vede ha a cuore la soddisfazione degli ospiti. La camera gialla è piccolina ma accogliente, curatissima e pulita. L'affaccio interno (che ho scelto di proposito) permette di dormire serenamente. Colazione buona: cappuccino con il latte di soia apprezzatissimo così come la generale attenzione verso ambiente e sprechi. Io personalmente, da famiglia artigiana, ho apprezzato tanto come hanno mantenuta viva la struttura della vecchia tintoria, con le arcate in muratura ancora a vista, davvero bella. Tornerò sicuramente.

Loved the location. Nice room with a big and clean bathroom. The breakfast was very nice. The owner had good advice about what to see and helped us with locating places in Florence. Place was quiet.Recommended.

We stayed at BB Casa dei Tintori for two nights. Based on a recommendation from a friend. The hosts Lavinia and Riccardo are very friendly and helpful. We received many tips for Florence upon arrival. The rooms are lovingly furnished and very clean. We will be happy to come back. Kind regards to both of them from Switzerland.

Riccardo and Lavinia were excellent hosts!The breakfast was really good, excellent capuccino, fresh baked cakes, varied cereals, yogurt, juice and fruit.The location was superb, very close to the centre.I had red (rossa) room, which was large, clean and beautiful with its old wooden beams.Riccardo gave us some recommendations to eat out and to visit which made us feel we got the most out of our trip. He even made two restaurants bookings for us. He advised us to buy in advance the train tickets to Bologna, and he was right. Will recommend 100%

We stayed here only one night, but it was a great experience. The hosts were so nice and helpful and made our short stay in Florence very memorable. They made a lot of great recommendations and really went above and beyond. The location was great and easy walking distance to the major sites, dining, and shopping. We hope to return to Florence in the future and would love to stay here again.

I gestori sono stati gentilissimi, disponibili e attenti al benessere degli ospiti: grazie ai loro suggerimenti abbiamo trascorso un lungo e stupendo weekend. Ottimo livello di pulizia e riservatezza. Posizione comodissima e funzionale: in pochi minuti si raggiungono tutti I principali punti di interesse. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!
