Venice Simplon-Orient-Express

ベネチアからスタートし、パリで３泊。そして、ロンドンへむかう、スタート地点。料理の豪華さに、驚かされたのと、同時に、日本人には、食事の量が、きついと感じました(ﾟдﾟ;)オリエントエクスプレスにのる前日は、ゴンドラに乗りながら、ショッピングしたり、ジェラートを、食べたり、ベネチア観光を、楽しめました。プランにも、よりますが、自分達は、パリで３泊し、ルーブル美術館など、いろいろ散策しました。追記ロンドンからベネチアに向かうアリタリア航空の席の隣の方が、オリエントエクスプレスの車掌さんだったのを、オリエントエクスプレスの出発時の車掌さんの挨拶周りで、分かり、サプライズな再会に、驚いた思い出が、ありました。また、いつかオリエントエクスプレスに乗ってヨーロッパの旅したいなぁ。

We took the Venice-Budapest-Brussels trip for our honeymoon and it was magical. We were the youngest (and poorest) people on the train by about 50 years, but we still had a great time. Our steward, Rupert, was AMAZING- so friendly and helpful. The food was out of this world- they even matched a flower on my sorbet to my dress! Worth every penny. I hope we can go again for our anniversary one year.

Une expérience hors du temps, dans le plus mythique des trains, tout y est réuni pour rendre le voyage magique et inoubliable.Nous avons adoré ce trajet jusqu'à Venise, la beauté des voitures, le confort de la cabine et la gentillesse du personnel aux petits soins pour les voyageurs.Nous espérons pouvoir avoir la chance de retourner à bord au plus vite.

Ótimo serviço de bordo com cabines caprichosamente preparadas. O menu oferece muita flexibilidade, a lá carte e os pratos habilmente preparados e cuidadosamente balanceados. Bebida gelada, carta de vinhos e champanhes variados e a comida era deliciosa, realmente saborosa, toda feita com produtos locais, e primorosamente apresentada. O atendimento foi excelente; atencioso e formal. Boas sobremesas.Foi sem duvida uma noite muito agradável.

Prezzo assolutamente sproporzionato

It's the Orient Express! It's amazing! Food, staff, drinks, everything. Half a mile of pure decadence. Your going to pay for it and it delivers. Tiny annoyances but all due to been a train from another era, buy a battery pack and you won't notice.

WATCH OUT: DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THE BELMOND SIMPLON ORIENT EXPRESS! VERY BAD MANAGEMENT WHO SCREW YOU, EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE AND CANCELLATION POLICY!

I’m glad others have enjoyed their trip and I’m sure many more will, however be careful, this is our experience.We travelled to Budapest to get the Orient Express back home to London. On the day after arriving in Budapest we were informed by our travel company that the Orient Express train home had been cancelled. We were gutted and Budapest was ruined due to disappointment. We had to fly home a day early.We were told by our travel agents compensation was being sorted. It never came nor did any apology from Belmond Orient Express. We got our money back minus costs for parts of holiday used even though they were ruined. That’s not compensation that’s just have your money back minus being overcharged for parts used which travel agents wouldn’t give us a breakdown of.Belmond offered another trip but we couldn’t think about that we were too disappointed and didn’t know dates etc and also Pullman isn’t coming through Kent next year so decided on refund.Surely it warranted at least a full refund at the very least. Having to fork out money for time spent in Budapest which was one day travelling and one day disappointed you could not enjoy yourself and then one day coming back home.The amount they must make in profits, I was very disappointed. Still ongoing with the travel agent.Since we have been home I was told Belmond had again had to cancel trains. I appreciate it might have been out of Belmond control but lack of apology and compensation is the reason for this review, there is no excuse for this.
