Assolutamente da vedere, ci sono dei pezzi incredibili, meravigliosi... Come la Vespa dipinta da Dalì: raccontano che una coppia in viaggio abbia trovato Dalì e lui ha dipinto la loro Vespa... =^.^=

Assolutamente da vedere , non solo per la storia della Vespa,ma anche per la sezione moto , con i modelli Gilera anni 80!!!P.s. il museo è gratuito ma vedere il contenitore delle offerte con i centesimi mette un pò di tristezza,...mettete almeno 1 euro, ne vale molti di più!

Bellissimo museo, ingresso ad offerta libera. Nei gg feriali è possibile anche fare visite guidate (da prenotare tramite il sito internet). Vale veramente la pena per gli appassionati di vespe e non solo. Bellissima esperienza anche per i bambini. Per i più piccoli è presente anche una saletta dedicata con giochi e area relax mentre i genitori si godono il museo. Non spoilero di più il resto vale la pena vederlo di persona.

My wife, boys and I visited whilst travelling to Pisa, as we needed to pass a few hours! What an absolute treat this turned out to be; I was so glad we found it!First of all…… you have to book a slot via their website and there are restriction on opening times and days, particularly at the weekend!This is free museum with voluntary donations at the exit (well worth a donation). There is adequate parking along the street on a Sunday.The museum is not huge and my family comfortably saw what we want in an hour. However, for Vespa fans or other Piaggio production bike fans (Aprilia etc) you could easily spend so much more time here! There is an absolute wealth of history about the company and all of the motorbikes (and more) that is has produced through the years.A must for any avid or casual motorbike enthusiast.

Full disclosure: This place has been on my bucket list to visit for many years.I have seen the photos, and read the reviews so I knew what to expect. It's not as big as you wish it could be. But it's free (donation of at least 5E is appreciated).The staff were really friendly and helpful too.This place is an absolute treasure of all things Vespa and Piaggio. There is lots to see in the 1 hour window you are given to tour the museum. Its plenty enough time, plus you can spend your hard earned cash in the gift shop too.Make sure you book in advance via the museum website. Your name will be on a list. Knock on the doors and they will let you in and check you off.Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the artwork Vespas and the other Piaggio items in the separate room. I really do love the Ape's.

you don't need to be a motorcycle lover to visit this museum. it's all about the development of technology and design… great ideas made real with vision, great effort and dedication. it's very informative and well organized. 100% recommendable. it's free but leaving a voluntary contribution is not a bad thing to do.

Un’esperienza molto bella, consiglio a tutti di fare un giretto al museo. La cosa belle è che era pieno di turisti stranieri che visitavano il museo e apprezzavano le mitiche vespe . Che la vespa sia con voi

Must see!!!We do visit a lot of motorcycle and automotive museums in Europe. This one gets the top!!! You decide how much you pay (yes, this may be free of charge, if you decide). In old production facility you will see massive info, multimedia and VESPAS, Gilerra, piaggio, etc… great exposition.Consider opening hours.Space for kids, couple of bathrooms, vespa sidecar for taking pictures. History, design and art in single space.Mekka for vespa addicted. For the rest… must see.

Il Museo Piaggio, si trova a Pontedera, nel cuore delle colline Pisane, a circa 15 minuti da Pisa e 35 da Firenze. Si raggiunge comodamente uscendo dalla superstrada a Pisa-Firenze e può essere una piacevole idea per una pausa viaggiando lungo la strada tra Pisa e Firenze, oppure un diversivo durante le ferie estive nelle località balneari toscane o durante un viaggio turistico fra musei antichi e città d’arte. Anche i più piccoli apprezzeranno questa visita. Il Museo Piaggio è nato per conservare e per porre in risalto tutto il valore di una straordinaria memoria storica e si pone l’obiettivo di raccontare la storia dell’azienda, e mediante essa, lo sviluppo dell’industria, dell’economia e della società italiane, con l’esposizione dei prodotti più famosi e rappresentativi! Oggetti straordinari che, come un invisibile filo, conducono attraverso tutti i comparti della mobilità. Tre le collezioni raccolte: la collezione Vespa, quella Gilera e la collezione Piaggio. Ne museo si trova l’archivio storico, ricchissima raccolta di circa 4000 filze in cui sono conservate e ordinate le testimonianze della vita dell’azienda in tutti in suoi aspetti, compresi i bozzetti, i disegni, le pellicole sulle campagne pubblicitarie dagli anni Trenta fino d oggi.#vespistadellabassa
