Ho cenato nello spazio all’aperto del Riva restaurant una sera di fine agosto. Il dehor è picevole, con vista sul teatro petruzzelli. L’ambiente è raffinato anche se informale. Il personale disponibile e reattivo.Ho provato le tagliatelle dedicate con scampi e il branzino con zucchine. Piatti ottimi direi.Il costo dei piatti è leggermente superiore ad altri ristoranti che si trovano in zona, ma la qualità sicuramente è alta, quindi giustificato il prezzo proposto. In definitiva un buon ristorante vicinissimo a Bari vecchia ma in un ambiente defilato e tranquillo.

I have worked in restaurants for 8 years and no where in my life have I seen such attention to detail and quality of the food. I still think it was the best meal I've ever had I had the steak that was for 2. Service was phenomenal but there was a private event so some servers were awesome but then didn't see them the whole night. Dan was fantastic and knowledgeable wine was great. I went to the bar afterwords and that was lovely and lively. All in all incredible experience and to top it off the servers spoke surprisingly good English.

Posto moderno situato alle spalle del Teatro Petruzzelli a Bari. Pesce di ottima qualità. Nota molto positiva la degustazione di olio all'inizio del pasto e soprattutto il dolce non dolce alla barbabietola. Alla prossima!

Very nice restaurant. The food is good, maybe a bit expensive though. Service is very nice and attentive. The mood is also nice but the restaurant wasn’t full and I felt like the meals came a bit too fast without time to rest in between, but that’s a small detail.

Ho avuto il piacere di prenotare più volte al Riva Restaurant ed ho sempre trovato un ottimo connubio tra le scelte delle eccellenti pietanze e dei vini. Piatti particolari e curati. Ho festeggiato di recente i miei 60 anni al piano superiore e sono stato arci soddisfatto sotto ogni punto di vista. Un ringraziamento speciale alla Event Manager Dott.ssa Alessia Genchi la quale mi ha seguito durante tutta la fase di organizzazione con grande attenzione e professionalità. Anche il menù preparato per l'evento lo considero eccellente. Pasticceria di riferimento di grande prestigio. Personale di servizio impeccabile.

Ristorante molto curato nel servizio, mise en place e piatti. Personale attento e gentile.L’olio offerto è veramente buono.Abbiamo preso come antipasto la capasanta (pesce fresco e cucinato bene) e l’uovo (troppo buono!). Come piatto principale le orecchiette, porzione abbondante, e il dentice, molto fresco e delicato. Davvero molto contenti del ristorante, che tra servizio e cucina mira alla stella. Unica nota un po’ dolente è il dolce.Ma prezzi bassi!!Da ritornarci sicuramente!

We went to Riva expecting an experience to match the menu and reviews, but got exactly the opposite. Very sub par food while they present the menu as almost gastronomic, but the taste is below average and nowhere near matching what to expect. Do not go here if you are looking for a special dinner as it is not worth it, with many far better places to go to. The location is average and the food is just not an enjoyable experience - there is no care taken for the ingredients or their taste, and I would not be surprised if the food came from a microwave.

Excellent food and service. Our waiter was observant to the fact my wife is pregnant and made necessary suggestions/alterations. We had risotto, pasta, turbot, eclair and Chocolate sponge/mousse and they were all superb.Highly recommend.

One of the best restaurant I have been! Great food and great service (which I found i bit hard to find in Italy) - attentive and happy to give good recommendations. Fair prices for great quality. A big thank you to the staff and managers for an amazing night!
