Very good hub for both inter and in city traveling. Also has a direct route to the airport. Both vending machines and in person ticket sale is available for both public transport and inter city travel.

Come ogni piazza dedita al transito d'autobus, trasmette caos e scetticismo riguardo la puntualità. Di notte, specie un tempo, si è rivelato un posto sicuro solo grazie alla presenza di un McDonald's. Catanesi e turisti la adottano comunque come punto di riferimento per il transito pubblico. La fermata Metro adiacente è guasta da una vita.

One of the better bus stations in Catania with many bus lines coming through on a regular schedule. There are markings on the asphalt for each bus line and that's where that particular bus line will stop.There are 2 ticket machines where you can buy 90-minute tickets for €1 each (a ticket from the bus driver is €1.6). Unfortunately, more often than not, the ticketing machine doesn't work properly. Sometimes you can't pay by card, sometimes you can't pay by cash, sometimes you can't pay with coins. Depends on your luck.During summer days, you'll have to find a way to shield yourself from the sun as the whole station is basically uncovered, making it quite uncomfortable to wait for your bus.

Don't trust the bus. They not drive on time. Sometimes they also drive 3-5 minutes to early. You can't buy the tickt on the bus. The schedule plan on Google maps is also wrong.
