Do not hire from this office, the sales people try to inflate your hire bill in any way they can. Having never had a problem before with this company we had lots of extras added onto our bill (that we didn’t ask for) including car upgrades, fuel costs and then (as they had filled out the contract incorrectly in the first place) they charged us for an extra day! Our invoice went €100 to €400!If you do have the misfortune to hire from here I would check your bill carefully.

Appallingly bad service at Siena. The office was unattended and we had to wait over half an hour for them to turn up. No apologies, and a very bad attitude. Our reserved car (an automatic) wasn't available. We were given a car with manual gearbox (luckily I can drive one), from a lower band. It was absolutely filthy. I thought Avis was a respectable brand, but it doesn't apply to this branch.

I asked the representative if we could drop off the car after hours and he said, yes, place the key in the box. Unfortunately, he neglected to tell us that we would not be able to park the car in their lot (which is gated). We felt uneasy leaving the car on the street as they don't open until 9am and the city begins ticketing at 8am. So, we had to venture 25 minutes into Siena with the car and park it, which we most certainly didn't want to do. Then we had to wake up early to get the car and take it back in before they opened. When I told the representative it was frustrating that he didn't tell us where to park, he said what do you want me to do

Fast pickup for a weekly rental. Not overly chatty, but moved folks through queue. Returned early in AM so left keys in Dropbox with note as to where it was parked nearby. They sent me my invoice by 9:30 AM and seamless experience.

Very bad experienceIn the end of july we were looking for a car for 2 days. So we called and asked if there was something for less than 100€. We are young workers and couldn't afford more than that. The man was very nice and suggested a car for 98€. We came to take it, the guy made us sign a paper with an advance, which is normal. We couldn't understand the bill so we insisted several times but the man said the final price would be 98€. Naively trustful, we signed but when we gave the car back, the price had raised to 198€ ! They never took the time to answer me for that.When I get back to France, I received a fine because I drove in a restricted area. They took 48€ as administrative costs, but they took it 3 times ! On the letter they sent me, it is written that I cannot make a complaint because another company take care of that.So they basically took me 150€ just to send me letters ? REALLY ?!

We Rented a luxury vehicle which we were given with a low tire pressure light on. After filling the tire with air they refused to inspect the tire for any nails. We did a quick inspection ourselves and didn’t see anything. So off we went. Two days later the light comes back on and we did a more careful inspection and there was a small nail in the tire. It was Sunday and it was difficult to get anyone from Avis to help us out. We did what we could to remedy the situation then returned the car the following day. They gave us a lower class vehicle that ran in both Methane and and liquid gas. The gas light goes on after just 45 Km of driving telling us to fill up. The tank read full before we left. We find out the liquid gas portion has a very small tank. But it was not possible to navigate the gas gauge as it was something we have never seen before and everything was in Italian. With the gas light continuing to go on we decided to return the car only to receive a third car which was even a lower class vehicle deliver very dirty with high miles and the engine light and another light on. We were told it is ok to drive. It was but that is not what we paid for and it resulted in a lot of time and stress dealing with these cars instead of our vacation. This Avis location was very limited in vehicles and the staff could care less about our dilemma. They did the least they could to accommodate us. This was a perfect example of very poor customer service. I would recommend avoiding these people at all costs. I never got mad at the staff as I didn’t think that would help our situation. In hindsight I don’t think it would have made a difference one way or the other. They seem to want to do as little work as possible. When I returned to the States I filed a complaint to Avis Customer Service to only get a one sided conclusion of the situation. This companies process of handling legitimate customer complaints is also a joke.

Appuntamento alle 10 per ritirare un auto già pagata.Arriviamo alle 10:03 e gli uffici sono già chiusi.Al telefono non rispondono.Alle 11 con calma si presentano nemmeno chiedendo scusa del ritardo e chiedendo dei sovrapprezzi rispetto alla prenotazione che avevamo fatto online.Personale maleducato e scortese per non dire di peggio.Non chiedete nemmeno informazioni.Insieme a noi c'erano altre due persone che dovevano riconsegnare un auto che hanno trovato chiuso e sono dovute tornare via.Veramente deludenti.

Brutta esperienza, ricevo la conferma della prenotazione Dell auto alle 17,45, 15 minuti prima della chiusura. L addetto mi dice di affrettarsi, arrivo alle 18,10, non c'è più nessuno. Dopo 15 minuti arriva, mi da del maleducato trattandomi in malo modo perché sono arrivato in ritardo, dopo che ci eravamo accordati, dicendomi che non puòmica riaccendere il computer per me e dicendomi che dovecamo rivederci il giorno successivo per la consegna. Insisto, fa la procedura. Mi consegna la macchina, sporca e con ancora dentro bottigliette vuote e spazzatura. Me la fa lasciare in divieto di sosta sulla fermata del bus, visto che dovevo riconsegnarepresso un altro autonoleggio. Se ne va... che dire....

If I could give it 0 - 1/2 star I would! I rented a car and they never went over it with me, to see if there was damage from a previous driver. They just parked it across the road, and gave me the keys. They did not show me where the lights, indicator or anything else was - every car is different.They also did not tell me that it was Diesel, but fortunately when I filled it up before returning it, the lady at the gas station pointed out that it showed diesel on the gas cap. I did not know that, and it would have been a real problem if I had filled it with gas. When I pointed that out when I returned it, the answer was, It's in the contract". I don't usually read the contract as I drive away. The car was dirty and smelt of smoke.The staff is very unhelpful! Don't go there if it's 20 minutes before they close for lunch
