We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Castelli International. Our children are happy and thriving. From the moment they started, they received a very warm welcome from the teachers, staff and students. The teachers were quick to ascertain where my children were at with their learning and tailored strategies to help integrate them into the class with ease. The school is situated up on a hill overlooking Rome amongst olive trees and grapevines. It's a beautiful, holistic environment. Perfect for the children to be immersed in daily. We couldn't be happier with the choice we made for our children here at Castelli International.

Abbiamo da poco iniziato il nostro percorso in questa scuola dopo l'esperienza positiva dei miei nipoti. Lo spirito che si respira all'interno della scuola è familiare e piacevole, la location è stupenda e molto curata. Il livello didattico raggiungo in soli 3 mesi di scuola ci ha molto stupiti in positivo. Mia figlia va a scuola molto volentieri e questo credo sia il feedback più importante. Ha un ottimo feeling sia con la maestra che con i compagni. Siamo stati coinvolti anche noi genitori in molte attività extrascolastiche. Questo ci ha permesso di vedere da vicino quanto l'ambiente scelto per la crescita scolastica e personale di nostra figlia sia attinente alle nostre aspettative. Siamo molto soddisfatti della scelta fatta.

The school’s methods are from a behaviorist nature. They constantly reward children for certain behavior (points/prizes/stickers etc.). Not only do they do this during the lessons, but there is even a “lunchroom competition” where students are rewarded for eating silently and eating up. Through the continuous rewarding, students are purely extrinsically motivated and permanently in competition with each other. The result/outcome has the highest priority.In addition to the rewarding, they also do the opposite, namely punishing students for non-obedience by separating them from the group and sitting them down “to make them remember the rule” (also known as time-out). One example is that students HAVE to speak English during break/recess. Their mother tongue (if different from English) is not allowed from 2nd grade on and even in first grade when considered appropriate by the teacher. When we criticized the school‘s methods, we were informed that the contract with our son will not be extended at the end of the school year.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLa scuola lavora con metodi del “behaviorsimo”. I docenti distribuiscono premi in continuazione (punti, stickers etc.). Lo fanno non solo durante le lezioni ma persino durante i pasti. Esiste addirittura una “competizione di pranzo” dove gli studenti vengono premiati se mangiano in silenzio e se finiscono il loro piatto. A causa di questa condotta volta alla continua premiazione, gli studenti sono esclusivamente ed estrinsecamente motivati da questo e vengono messi nella condizione di una perenne e continua competizione gli uni contro altri. I risultati hanno la priorita su tutto il resto.Di contro vengono messe in atto anche le punizioni" dove lo studente "disobbediente" viene isolato dagli altri e costretto a star seduto (time-out). As a former student I couldn't wait to give my own children the chance to grow up in this special place. I was so impressed to figure out Castelli has not changed over the decades. When it comes to its core values, to the high academic standards, to the beautiful and joyful cross-cultural environment kids benefit from every day, Castelli really is unparalleled. Students well-being is a taught and learned subject, that gives you the idea of how much the school is centered on a conscious and mindful upbringing.Special note goes to faculty members and surroundings.This school, which I have called home for many years, will always have a special place in my heart bringing up so many precious memories of a happy childhood, and... so many more to come.

Excellent school. The teachers and administrators are very open and warm-hearted, and when we've encountered challenges, have been very willing to work with us to ensure our child's needs are met. The teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning and time spent outdoors. The location of the school is magnificent--up on a hill among groves of olives and grapes, which the children help gather every autumn.

Stata bruttissima, purtroppo avevo depositato fiducia e invece insegnante mediocre,hanno dichiarato il falso su mio figlio..

We entered the school grounds for the first time (in 2013) when our eldest daughter entered in Grade 1. Since the very first moment when we came to Castelli International for the admission procedure, we had a positive and comfortable feeling that has never abandoned us over all those years. Our daughter graduated this year, and we now have our second daughter at Castelli. We feel blessed to be able to provide our children with the opportunity to attend Castelli International. Both of our daughters are well prepared to meet the academic and personal challenges and to commit themselves to always do their best. Thy also had the opportunity to participate in several after school activities. As parents we have joined several activities too, such as sports day or selected charity events. The school has accompanied our children in some of the most important years of growth and development and has provided all of us with great experiences and memories. Throughout all those years our children were taught by wonderful teachers. The management of the school, I have to say, was always impeccable, especially during the COVID times. The school ground and surroundings are wonderful and the community is vibrant and welcoming! We highly recommend Castelli International.
