What a terrible service, won't order from these thieves again.

Use caution when booking with Maggiore. I booked a Fiat Spider (small sports car with a soft top) for a week driving around Lake Garda for my 50th. Paid for it in advance, when we got there they gave me a Fiat 500 and said it was a similar car! It was most certainly not, the only thing in common was the soft top but they did not have anything else and were not understanding at all. I could have hired a Fiat 500 for half the price. I feel conned and have read reviews from other disappointed customers. At the time of writing this review, they were rated 0.7 out of 10 on Trustpilot. I also got charged 8 days insurance for a 7 day hire as they put my drop off time as the flight time home. I didn't notice this on the collection but I am now struggling to get a refund as when we dropped the car off the business was closed and the number on the agreement is incorrect. In addition for no reason I can see I have been charged an extra £88 on my credit card and have had to go back to the card company to raise a dispute. I strongly advise you steer very clear of Maggiore.

Excellent customer service. I fly to Verona quite a lot and I always rent a car from the airport. This was the first time I rented with Maggiore and was pleased to see they were very professional compared to all the other rental companies I used before at Verona Airport.They didn't try to push me to cancel my full cover insurance and buy their own insurance.My credit card worked at the first attempt (usually with the other rental companies, for some reason my card never worked at the first attempt and they asked me to call my bank or use a a different credit card or debit card).They didn't try to block thousands of euros on my card only because i didn't have their own insurance.Plus they were professional and very friendly.I hope all the other rental companies at this airport will learn form them.

When first arrived, the waiting lines were very long and only 3 clerks worked there so we had to wait over an hour, but when our number finally showed up we got a great and caring service from the representative. The car we got was great but unlike anyother car rental company there, only maggiore didn't send someone to explain how to opperate the car nor someone to show you And map the car for bumps and scratches, thats all on you. Uppon arrival, there was no one to help you with a thing (not even with the entrance gate that won't open, to which they said just leave the airport and circle back") only someone from other car rental came to help and not from maggiore.
