Siena Guided Tour

We spent a whole day in Siena with Vivanna - two adults and three teenagers - and she held our attention for every minute! Her real value is her wide knowledge - not only of the historical, religious and artistic context of Siena but also of the back streets and the little gems which tourists would otherwise miss. This was my husband and my 4th visit and we saw things we never knew existed. I highly recommend her.

Having spent half a day in Siena, we realised that without taking a guided tour we were not going to be able to appreciate all the history and fantastic landmarks the city has to offer - which is actually far more than we were expecting!We booked a three hour tour with Viviana, and she was absolutely fantastic! She adjusted the tour to suit our requirements and made it interesting and entertaining for our whole family; Dad, mum and our three children aged 16, 13 & 12. Viviana's spoken English is excellent and she focussed primarily on the fascinating history of the city, its districts and its key monuments, demonstrating a deep level of historical knowledgeable. She also knows her stuff when it comes to the fine art the city has to offer, although, at our request, we didn't focus too much on this during our tour.We throughly enjoyed our three hours with Viviana and highly recommend her.

Viviana is a very knowledgeable guide. She explained the history and culture of the city very well and kept us engaged throughout the tour. She is relaxed and speaks slowly and clearly and she adjusted the tour to our specific needs. Thoroughly recommended.

We have recently made a daily guided tour with Viviana Girola in Siena, Pienza and Montepulciano. Viviana is a very knowledgeable guide, passionated about her job. Not the most affordable holiday experience but definitely worth it. Recommended it to anybody who is interested in enjoying the history and beauty of this amazing part of Italy.
