The Relais Anfitheatro was just excellent. It’s in a great location, on a parallel street to the Main Street in Catania (via Etna). So it’s in easy walking distance to shops and the main squares. Although the street view exterior of Relais Anfitheatro might not look glamorous, once you get inside the property you will not be disappointed. It is very nicely decorated in a contemporary style. With high quality fixtures and decoration. The bathroom was modern and clean. And the room was cleaned everyday. I also found the bed extremely comfortable and had a better nights sleep than what I do at home! There is also a coffee machine in the room which was great. Along with a kettle and a selection of teas. A mini fridge and a selection of biscuits and small cakes are provided complementary each day. There is also a communal area, also with coffee and tea facilities, cakes, biscuits etc. Again, this is was all nicely decorated in a modern style. Breakfast is provided by vouchers to be used at a nearby cafe. The cafe is literally just round the corner, and have a selection of continental/Italian cakes/snacks. The cafe was ok, but it does get busy. No review of Relais Anfitheatro can be complete without mentioning Anna. The level of service and hospitality Anna gave us was just wonderful. Anna was so warm and welcoming to us. With great communication and helpfulness. If I were ever to visit Catania again, I would stay here again without hesitation.

Semplicemente strepitoso, mai visto niente di simile...Un incrocio tra storia e modernità che consente di vivere la Catania antica senza rinunciare al lusso e ai comfort attuali.

Bellissimo posto centrale e la proprietaria molto cortese

Anna was such a great host, very friendly and professional. The place is super central if you want to discover Catania this is perfect. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. They have a nice patio that we used at night when our kids were asleep. We had non alcohol drinks for free in the mini bar. They have really a nice concept for breakfast. You receive a voucher that you can use in a cafe nearby which offers a typical delicious Italian breakfast. Overall if you are in Catania definitely a must

Soggiorno mooolto piacevole. Proprietaria estremamente gentile e disponibile. Molto flessibile con gli orari di check in e check out, il che è stato di grandissimo aiuto (la stanza ci è stata data in prima mattina e il giorno della partenza l'abbiamo lasciata in tardo pomeriggio). Tutto perfetto!

We arrived in Catania quite late after much delays and were pleasantly surprised at the hotel and especially the manager, Anna. Despite the great location, room size, cleanliness and quietness of the hotel, Anna is the lifeblood of this establishment. She is kind, considerate and forthcoming with suggestions and things to do. From booking our taxi from the airport to a restaurant after a long day at Mt Etna, nothing is too much or beyond her job. Each time I think of something to say about the place itself, I cannot write anything without mentioning Anna. You won't regret staying here - trust me!

Posto molto bello, tranquillo e vicinissimo al centro storico. Le camere sono nuove, pulite e arredate con gusto, inoltre sono presenti frigobar, macchinetta del caffè, bollitore, doccia emozionale, climatizzazione è tv 48 pollici. La proprietaria è una persona gentilissima è disponibilissima. Lo consiglio vivamente!
