414 Kitesurf School

A excellent school, my preferred one so far. Fantastic experience. Small groups (we were two the first day, I was alone with my instructor the second !) they really pay attention to provide you the best training experience by organising the groups according to your level and hence they make you make great progress. Very good material. The spot in the lake of Como is amazing. And the instructors were really excellent and caring (Gilles and Luke). Really enjoyed this school. I highly recommend it and will look myself to come back kiting with them again.

Recently spent 4 days with 414 improving my kitesurfing. Had an excellent time in a beautiful location. The school is well organised with a friendly and knowledgeable team of instructors. The equipment was all new and worked properly.I chose group lessons and we each had our own kite so had plenty of time on the kite to practice what we were taught.Although in the middle of Lake Como, I felt perfectly safe as the instructor kept an eye on you and would be there quickly if you needed help. In addition, there were other school boats around, all in contact with each other via radio, who would also provide assistance, if required.All in all, a fantastic time and will certainly go back again.

Mike and Chris are both very good instructors with a passion for kiting. They give you targeted advice so that you will improve fast on your kiting skills. I felt very safe and it was fun. Fi is very responsive if you want to book kite lessons. Overall its a very professional kite school.

We were really fortunate to select the 414 kite school for our introduction into this fascinating sport. The organization of the the school, the equipment and the instructors are highly professional and motivating. Thanks to the instructors Karo and Zolty, the whole family (the youngest member is 11years old) managed to get a IKO certificate in 4 days. I highly recommend 414 and we will definitely be back to improve our kiting skills!

The team was really nice! We were two beginners and three couches. Two of them were with us in the water to teach us various techniques and the third instructor was overseeing us from the boat. I felt really supported and in good hands in general. The only downside was a rather long boattrip to our kite spot and back to the school but we used the time for theory lessons and a really nice smalltalk :)I would recommend the school to anyone who would like to learn kitesurfing!

Absolutely amazing experience! I learned so much with Mike and Zolty, they are both great instructors, very patient and concise, and we had a lot of fun! The weather conditions were challenging (stormy at times), but the team did everything to maximize our time on the water, highly appreciated. I found learning to kitesurf on a lake very convenient, since you never have to walk upwind (instead the boat follows you) and you don't drink any saltwater... Rental equipment was high quality, communication seemless. Would come back anytime, can 100% recommend.

I‘m currently practicing water starts and I booked a private lesson one day in advance. Zolty was my instructor. My friend is an advanced rider and he came along with us on the boat and got some tips for jumping. Zolty did an amazing job, before this session, I haven‘t been in the water for 3 years. So we did some quick refreshers how to handle the kite and then we tried it with the board. After a few tries I actually managed to ride! Zolty gave me adequate and very useful instructions and gave me enough time to practice every single step. I did a real breakthrough this day. Zolty also tried maximizing my kite time so I would get the most of the day and he even took some pictures and videos of me kiting. I always felt safe and confident with the environment and equipment. It was a great day! Thank you 414 kiting and especially Zolty!
