Had the best dinner of the trip, and probably one of the best dinners in recent memory. The food was amazing, the wait staff were entertaining and the loud music encouraged people to engage in animated conversation.Ignore the bad reviews, they are honestly left by the kind of tourist that cause tourist trap businesses with bad food to thrive.

Locale molto informale, ti senti come a casa. I proprietari ed il personale che ci lavora sono Top! Ti accolgono con simpatica goliardia e tale spirito si respira continuamente per tutta la serata. Il servizio è super veloce e la qualità del cibo è ottima....nulla da eccepire. Abbiamo preso lombata di vitello, patate e verdure al forno. Tutto buonissimo, la carne squisita!!!Tappa obbligatoria a Firenze.

We got the Florentine steak, green beans, and Tortelli w/ricotta and spinach and a butter sauce. Everything was amazing and the steaks are rare! It fed 2 people. The staff was also a lot of fun and we ended up doing like 4 lemoncello shots with staff while waiting to pay. It was one of our best meals in Italy. It also just had a really fun atmosphere.Recommend to us by a local guide we had and it did not disappoint!

We went without a reservation but was lucky to be seated right away. Florentine steak turned out to be not much different from the usual t-bone in the US, but the pasta dishes were both superb. Staff was friendly in a traditional Italian way.

Posto consigliatissimo, ingredienti di qualità e piatti squisiti: dalla pappa al pomodoro e i tortelli mugellani fino alla fiorentina che era cotta benissimo e fenomenale (servita con a parte olio e mix di spezie). Anche i dolci sono stati convincenti: ho preso la cheesecake al caffè e cioccolato fatta da loro ed era abbondante e buonissima.In generale le quantità sono generose e la qualità è alta, mentre i prezzi sono ragionevolissimi.I gestori sono molto simpatici e caciaroni (come deve essere in un'osteria).Posto perfetto se sei Italiano e vuoi un ambiente che rispecchi la Fiorentininità e non una trappola per turisti""

I came here with my family for dinner and we loved it! The location was away from all the touristy crowds and the food was great. What really stood out to us was how cheerful the staff seemed. They were joking around with us and looked genuinely happy to be there. It set a great vibe for the dinner.The florentine steaks we got were perfect (they refuse to serve them well done - as it should be). We also enjoyed their assorted starters plate, especially the pickled garlic. Great experience overall!

Quite simply one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We showed up right at 7 p.m. on a Monday and were able to be seated despite not having a reservation, though told we'd have to give up the table by 8:30.The service was warm and friendly, food was prompt and DELICIOUS, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. The perfect meal for our first night in Florence!

Stopped by for lunch when it had just opened, and there was already a line outside and people seated inside! They were able to squeeze us in for an hour without a reservation. I was not expecting to need reservations for lunch, but grateful they fit us in.I was looking forward to trying some Florentine specialties here, especially the wild boar pappardelle, which was delicious and homey. We also got ribollita, bruschetta, and 2 desserts (berry panna cotta and a special cake). The ribollita was a huge portion and very filling - great flavor for such a simple vegetarian dish (we couldn't finish it even though we wanted to). I want to try to make it at home. Bruschetta was fresh and a big portion. Both desserts were perfection. There was also a basket of bread.Everyone in the restaurant was treated like family. Lots of writing/drawing all over the walls gives it a more relaxed vibe. It was quite a long walk from the busiest streets of Florence, but seemed to be the most bustling business in the surrounding area, which was very quiet. They did have English menus inside. When you are finished, you pay up front. Prices were very reasonable, very authentic - not touristy.

So my wife was like Rick Steve's suggest this restaurant and so far he hasn't steered us wrong so I'm like okay, it was about a 15 min drive from our hotel but well worth it. The service was amazing and the food was so delicious, I won't lie I'm not a person to eat my steak rare but they have a policy to respect the tradition and well who am I to step on tradition so I had the sirloin with mushrooms and truffle sauce and OMG I cleaned my plate and if you know me that's a rarity for me. After we were done they offered us lemoncello on the house and called us a cab. For 2 people we spent 60 euro which has been one of the cheapest dinners so far but definitely filled with flavor. If your in Florence definitely try them out. And get ready to sign the walls cause OMG.

Siamo stati accolti con simpatia e subito portati al posto.Ho preso le lasagne ed erano strepitose. Buonissimo il filetto con cipolla caramellata . Il chianti della casa buono.Serata positiva . Consiglio
