Vivarent Naples airport. I would definitely use this company again. Checking out of the car (Fiat 500 hybrid) was easy as was checking back in. The car was in very good condition and even had a full windscreen washer! Josie the manger was very helpful. We were offered full insurance but she was content that we had our own, she made sure that we understood that we would be responsible for costs until our insurance paid us back. No pressure at all. As with most hire companies, make sure you have a credit card in the name of the registered hirer.Fuel agreement is full to full, which I like as you don't have to estimate how much fuel you need to put in, just fill it up. There is a garage at the entrance to the hire company yard. No problems what so ever. Naples motorway tolls are very cheap , use the motorway! If you're a nervous driver don't hire a car in Naples. Drivers are crazy and have no tolerance for slow driving or indecisiveness. Stop signs and pedestrian crossings are optional. Give way does not exist. Lanes are optional. Seat belts are optional as are helmets on motor bikes. Use of the horn is mandatory. Parking on roundabouts or pedestrian crossings is encouraged. Obviously, according to the law, non of the above are true!! However the Italians don't care.In summery, if you are a confident driver and want to hire a car, you can't do better than Vivarent.

They rented us a car with a broken side mirror on the driver side (we noticed it a bit too late, once on the highway, it couldn’t move up and down so hard to see the cars in the back), we called them and they knew about it, just didn’t tell us.

Buonissima esperienza, prezzi molto interessanti (siamo passati via Discovercars). Accoglienza perfetta, l'addetta alla reception è stata di una gentilezza unica, il nostro volo era in ritardo purtroppo ma ci hanno aspettato, peccato per il supplemento di 40€ per il ritiro fuori orario di 30 minuti, ma immagino sia la regola. Auto ricevuta fedele a quella prenotata, abbiamo fatto qualche foto iniziale per essere sicuri ma alla consegna non c'è nemmeno stato bisogno di mostrarle. Autonoleggio onesto e preciso. Prenoteremo di nuovo con loro senz'altro.

I have had several positive car rental experiences in Italy. My experience with Vivarent was NOT one of those. My flight was delayed by one day and I both called and emailed Vivarent to ensure my reservation would still be good by the time I arrived. I was assured several times that my reservation would be upheld as this delay was out of my control. Once I arrived in Naples and went to pick up the car, they told me they canceled my reservation and that the car I had reserved was given to someone else. The Vivarent employees made no attempt to make any other accommodations for their screw up and even insisted that I was told otherwise in my phone conversation that my reservation would not be upheld. Not to mention, the promised car service from the airport to the rental pick up never arrived. This is truly a one-star company. The low prices are not worth the bottom tier customer support. I suggest you go with Sicily By Car or Autovia as the individuals at these companies are much kinder and willing to support.

Very bad customer support. +150€ needed to be paid when not having credit card only debit card. When will the time finally come when the car rental companies also accept debit cards? We're not in the 1900s, why can't this be solved in 2023? Not recommended at all.

I rented a Fiat500 for the cheapest price out of all the rental companies I checked online. Upon arrival at Naples we spoke to them on the phone as the rental offices are not based at the airport terminals, but close by and we were told that we would be picked up by a shuttle. In fact all rental companies use a shuttle services to pick up clients and take them to the car rental offices. The stop is located in the parking lot just in front of the exit doors at the arrival terminal. It is where the taxis pick you up to go to the center but on the inside lot.Look for the sign of vivarent on the white shuttle minbus.The pick up was quick and easy and I even used a debit card for the deposit amount. Vehicle was a hybrid new 500 fiat and in great condition. It was given full fueled and it is expected back full as well.I definitely would recommend them as they were very helpful on the phone and in person, especially considering it is July, the very high season for them.

we had a disappointing experience renting our car from this company on the honey moon trip, we arrived very early and went to a wrong company because our reservation paper had wrong address. then we went to the right place and waited for them to open at 8:00.we had our one-year-old child with us who was crying as the employee did not speak English and we could not communicate.they kept more money since we didn't have a credit card but a debit card. They told us that as soon as we return the car they will give us back the €100 of the guarantee.of course they didn't return them, we talked to them for a month, they told us that they would be in 20 days and after we contacted them they told us that they had been added to the account, which of course never happened!it's a scam, I don't recommend this car rental company...beware!!
