La Tribù Diving Academy

Diving di quelli che vorresti sempre trovare! Ilaria e Alessandro, i titolari, semplicemente super: preparati, gentili e sempre disponibilissimi. Così pure tutto lo staff, tra i quali l’espertissimo Simone, Marina e Cosma. Ambiente super super amichevole. Ottime immersioni sul relitto dell’Equa, presso l’AMP delle Cinque Terre, al Tinetto e a Portovenere. Diving certamente consigliatissimo!

I did the SSI open water course here. The instructors were no nonsense. They gave the necessary explanation and focused on learning under water. I got helpful feedback and always felt safe. The open water dives I did during the course were so much fun. Ila, listened to my needs and took the time to help me log all my dives. Very happy with my experience here, thank you!

Ho fatto 2 tuffi uno alle 9.30 e l’altro alle 14.30 . All’inizio accoglienza ligure. È la prima volta che vengo qui. Attenti alla sicurezza, controlli puntuali sia a terra che in acqua. Breefing prima dell’immersone puntuale. Se li stuzzichi reagiscono bene e il rapporto interpersonale che serve in questi casi parte subito. Reattivo. Tornerò: il tuffo alla grotta aveva poca visibilità, da riprovare.

Esperienza positiva, in tutti i sensi.Io ed il mio compagno siamo stati alla Tribù diving Academy una settimana fa per il battesimo subacqueo. Con nostra sorpresa eravamo gli unici a fare questa esperienza con l’istruttrice Marina mentre il gruppo di 5/6 persone che era con noi ha invece optato per lo snorkelling con Ilaria. Li abbiamo contattati su Instagram e in quanto persone curiose fin da subito li abbiamo tempestati di domande, che non sono mancate neanche appena arrivati in struttura.
Tutti disponibili e gentili ci hanno spiegato tutti i dettagli che ci sarebbero poi serviti per l’immersione, ed altre curiosità tecniche come il significato di “essere positivi” in acqua. 
Una volta tuffati, Marina non ci ha persi di vista un attimo e ha addirittura immortalato dei momenti magici con una videocamera. Io inizialmente mi son fatta prendere da un po’ di panico ma lei si è accorta subito, m'ha presa per mano e m’ha convinta a non arrendermi ad un’esperienza così unica. E ha fatto bene: quando ho preso confidenza con l’immersione siamo andati insieme fino a 5 metri sotto il livello del mare e siamo rimasti più di mezz’ora nelle profondità del mare, ma penso ci saremmo fermati volentieri anche oltre.
 Nella baia dei poeti - posto davvero suggestivo - abbiamo potuto vedere una varietà infinita di pesci quasi fino a toccarli, e abbiamo addirittura incontrato una stella marina. 
La merenda con focaccia, cracker e succo un'extra molto gradito. É stato molto bello essere per un giorno parte della loro tribù. Grazie a tutti!

Ilaria, biologa marina, istruttrice: un concentrato di dolcezza e professionalità.

Sadly this one was of my worst diving experiences.First the positive notes, because they are also worth mentioning: the staff is nice and the (care for the) equipment is good. We went with a boat for a beautiful drive by the coastline, getting an amazing view in the process.The briefing on the boat was allright. First in italian, then in English for us. The guide could speak reasonably good English. We asked about the expected visability, but it was expected to be good.Then the feedback points. The group consisted of 10 (!!) divers, which were all supposed to follow one guide. Supposedly there was also another divemaster/instructor, but he/she was never pointed out as such. When we submerged, it became immediately clear that the visability was bad, and that most divers present were not experienced with this, or with diving all together. It was chaos all around. 4 divers had such bad buoyancy that the bad visibility dramaticly decreased by kicking up the sand on the bodem. Within 20 minutes of the dive (in which nothing could be seen and you were only trying to keep your mask from being kicked from your face) we lost sight of the first half of the group, including the guide. We started search protocol, and luckely within one minute the guide showed up again. The returntrip was much of the same. So, of course they had no control of the visability (allthough they could have known because of the rough sea yesterday). But this group size was just not responsible, especially with these conditions. There was no debriefing. Also, before the dive they didn’t do any of the usual medical or administrative checks. We didn’t have to show our certificates, they didn’t ask when our last dive had been, or what our experience was. They also didnt check if we had any medical issues. Altogether, I wouldn’t recommend this diving centre for the inexperienced diver, since we didn’t feel like the safety was guaranteed or the situation under control.

Great dives and snorkeling at La Tribu. Ilaria is very helpful and her English is great. All the diving equipments were new which make a great difference. Thank you to all the Tribu Team for the experience.
