Hands down, one of our best tour experiences! Don’t think twice about booking The Art of Gondola building tour and make sure to add on the gondola yard and blacksmith tours. Luisella was super responsive and helpful when booking the tour and on the tour provided expert, in-depth information about Venetian history and current day life. She was able to take this immersive experience to the next level by incorporating interesting historical facts, personal anecdotes and curating a comprehensive overview of everything gondola related. An expert guide, Luisella knew all the details about the workshops we visited, filling in details and answering our lingering questions. Luisella is an amazing guide -- I've had her tour me through Venice on two separate trips, and it could not be better. She can customize your tour to your liking, and as you go along, she adjusts to make sure you're maximizing what you want in the tour. Could not recommend more highly!

Luisella took me on two extremely interesting tours on my trip to Venice last week. We visited the Frari church and the Scuola of San Rocco which provided aid to Venetians during the plagues.Luisella gave in depth explanations about the paintings decorating the ceilings and the wood carvings on the walls. On my second tour we visited the Santa Croce neighbourhood and the Bevilacqua textile factory, which still produces high quality velvet on original looms. Another fascinating visit.Luisella is an exceptional guide with a great depth of knowledge who brings the history of Venice to life. Her love of Venice shows through and she filled the tour with interesting facts and stories about Venice in general. I have been recommending her to all my friends. I led a group of people to Venice during lockdown. Luisella gave us a wonderful tour showing us the real Venice where people live and work avoiding the tourist spots. She also gave us a great deal of information, some of it gossipy, and we got a fascinating insight to a part of Venice which was unknown to us. Luisella was a complete delight with winning personality, a lovely sense of humour and a huge amount of knowledge. She was very friendly and she really brought the area to life for us. She was never rushed or impatient and all of my 35 attendees enjoyed her tour enormously. I cannot recommend her enough
