Il Paluffo Tuscan Villa
My husband and I were delighted by our visit to Il Paluffo. The building, an ancient castle, is so cool--we stayed in the Blue Room, which has original frescoes; the view is breathtaking; and the staff is fantastic. Federica was not only amazingly helpful in setting up activities for us, but super patient as we blundered around asking about laundry and reheating the leftovers from our cooking class. Il Paluffo was easy to find from Florence and is close to plenty of great activities--but just sitting on the terrace or at the pool and admiring the view is reason enough to go. I highly recommend it!

Amazing place, very private and quiet.Natural swimming pool with super soft and clean water.Breakfast was good, no other food was offered though which was a bit of a shame. Wouldn't mind just staying there and not going anywhere else for a few days if only offered lunch and dinner.The staff was very helpful to advice as to where to have a lovely dinner.

Il Paluffo Tuscan Villa
Il Paluffo is a rare jewel indeed. “Unique” is an often overused word but completely appropriate here. A gorgeous centuries-old building that is painstakingly maintained, with beautiful grounds overlooking a picture-perfect classic Tuscany valley. The view from the bio-pool is mind-boggling, the staff are friendly and helpful ( thank you Federika ! ). Our family of 5 stayed in the Torre, and we were all delighted every minute of our stay. Il Paluffo is a very special experience completely in a class of it’s own. Bellissimo !!!

Il Paluffo Tuscan Villa
We loved our stay at il paluffo. From booking to check out the staff was extremely helpful and communicative. We rented a car and took the short drive from Florence. There are several nice restaurants in the area that Federica was happy to recommend and help with reservations. Breakfast in the AM was a highlight. We also loved the pool after long days exploring the countryside. Our room was comfortable and a relaxing respite from the heat. Would highly recommend, largely in part due to the hospitality of the entire staff.

Il Paluffo Tuscan Villa
We had a wonderful apartment (Forno) which was perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 child, 1 dog). The kitchen had everything you need to cook for your family. Everything was super clean and any need you had was served with a smile. The staff was awesome in general and was always up to a chat.The pool was nice and also a nature one so no chemicals included. The only downside is the number of mosquitos that came up during our stay but I guess that’s what you have to live with and it is just a small drawback.The region Chianti is speaking for itself. The sun rising or setting is just like a painting on the sky.We can highly recommend this lovely place also to families with smaller children. Playgrounds can also be found in any village around (10 minutes by car)

We had such a wonderful stay here! The town, the staff and the location where incredible. The room was absolutely beautiful and had great views of the countryside. The breakfast was my favorite breakfast in Italy yet. This was my favorite part of the trip and we will be back to spend more time!

Il Paluffo Tuscan Villa
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Il Paluffo. Federica and her staff were the best and the property was amazing. It was a great base to go explore the sights of Tuscany. We went to Volterra, Sienna, wine tasting in Chianti, and did the local E-bike tour (which was amazing). Highly recommend this place.

Il Paluffo was gorgeous. The setting was perfect! The staff was kind and helpful. The pool made it! The breakfast was also very nice.We stayed in the tower apartment. My only negative would be the lack of towels and no available food after breakfast. Not even good coffee. They had a machine for espresso drinks but removed it after breakfast.

It was a spectacular place to stay, we were on a family trip and took an apartment.The area is quiet,pastoral and close to Siena and Florence and beautiful areas in Tuscany and the Chianti region.And Federica is welcoming
