The deposit of€300 was not returned until nearly one year later (a few weeks ago). I had phoned and emailed several times but got nowhere. Eventually I contacted the main Tourist Office in Florence. They contacted Central Rent Car and reported to me that Central said that there was some dispute over damage to the car. This was a LIE as there was no damage to the car. Magically within 24 hours the €300 was returned - I presume Central were worried about their reputation! My advice - don't ever use Central Rent Car. They seem to have a habit of not returning the deposit.

Great prices, and even better service! We rented a car to take a day trip to Pisa on 1 Jan. Perfectly arranged with a minimum of fuss and paperwork. I accidentally left my wallet in the car, and when I realised it the next day, they drove me to the depot, my wallet was there waiting, and they drove me back. Highly recommended.

Ich habe im April ein Auto gemietet. Die Kaution von 300.- wurde abgebucht und nicht zurück überwiesen. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht!
