sono andata a cenare senza pretese e pensando non fosse un posto acchiappa turisti (lo è).Il servizio è stato rapido ed efficiente anche se il locale era pieno.Il menu è casereccio e con piatti tipicamente toscani. abbiamo preso due primi e due antipasti e un tiramisù.Abbiamo inoltre preso una brocca piccola di vino rosso che ci è stata consigliata.il cibo è buono, come cucinato dalla nonna ma i prezzi mi sono sembrati alti, soprattutto per l’antipasto che si è rivelato essere composto da poche fette di salumi e due crostini (come da foto sotto). abbiamo infatti chiesto un altro piatto di crostini con i fegatini.

Now I see why there is a line at 7 when they open. Great food and great people. This may be the only place in Italy where you can have a meal in less than an hour if you choose. We arrived at 6:45 to a line. At 7 they asked us if we had a reservation. We didn’t. They said we could sit outside if we promised to be done by 8:30. Being from the US we said yes. We actually ate and walked a mile back to our Airbnb by 8:30. No problem. Delicious food and great people. I had the bistecca and it was amazing. They even ask how you like it cooked, as opposed to many that bring it out rare. Highly recommend and highly recommend arriving by 6:45. You won’t be disappointed. The reviews were right…it’s worth going here.

Accanto alla chiesa di Santo Spirito, storica trattoria fiorentina,dove non solo i turisti si recano a mangiare ma ci vanno anche i fiorentini. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, buono tutto dagli antipasti tipici ai primi e i secondi, bistecca compresa,molto buona e cotta come deve essere,ottima scelta di vini,molto buoni anche i dolci. Ottimo anche il servizio. Assolutamente consigliato

Personale molto cortese e disponibile: eravamo andati appositamente per le pappardelle con ragù di cinghiale (viste nel menu in internet). Nonostante non fossero nel menu della serata abbiamo provato a domandare se fosse possibile averle; hanno accontentato la nostra richiesta, seppur con altro formato di pasta. Ragù eccezionale e ottimo anche il peposo.Posto sicuramente consigliato e buon rapporto qualità prezzo

We reserved a table for 2 online (it is highly recommended as we arrived at 7pm - when the restaurant first opened for dinner - there was a huge queue!)The food was hearty, flavourful and of good portion. We had the pasta with meat ragu and with mushroom for around €12.50 each - both worth trying!!The menu was in Italian only but the waitress spoke good English and we asked for recommendations of what to order - we ended up ordering exactly as recommended - and all the dishes were very good.

Very popular, home style restaurant. The locals come here, which is always a good sign. We ordered the prosciutto with burrata and rocket for starters, ravioli with butter and sage, and 2 large thin slices of roast beef for our first and second courses. The food was delicious! The burrata was very creamy (quite unlike the stuff we get in Singapore). The ravioli was great, with a nice stuffing (some cheese of sort maybe?), but the wife found the roast beef (probably done medium rare) too raw for her taste. I personally liked it though!

Very authentic and rustic Italian fare. Must try: Ribollita!! Not many places do this traditional ‘re-boiled’ stew but this is one of few vegetarian dishes I’d pay big money to eat - and it only costs 8 bucks! Avoid: Florentine Steak (go to Trattoria Vecchio Mercato instead). The wild boar pappardelle is good too, and so are the grand mum’s cake and the vin santo with the biscotti. Service is quick and good and the prices are reasonable. A must try place for the Ribollita alone but the other stuff is good too.

The place is very warm and welcoming. The price is very good, and the staff don’t try to speak English to you right away, which I find polite because it can be condescending when you try to speak Italian and they immediately roll their eyes and speak English to you.We had steak, salad, ravioli, dolce, and caffeThe food was above average for Florence. It seemed fresh! Overall I’d go back here!

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Florence. Service was exceptional and the waiter really took interest in our needs and recommended very good dishes for us as well as showed us the traditional way to eat certain dishes. The Bistecca was to die for and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place, make sure to book in advance.
