Incredible food and fantastic service. Probably the best pasta with seafood I have ever had. The antipasti was superb. The ravioli is fantastic and the gnocchi with calamari and cinnamon simply out of this world. The swordfish was a bit too seasoned in my opinion. Too much herbs. The sole was better. Smooth sauce and superb vegetables and capers.

Torta al pistacchio spaziale. L’abbiamo mangiata tre anni fa e ancora ne parliamo in famiglia, me la sogno di notte. Pesce anche ottimo.

Non esagero dicendo che è uno dei ristoranti Veneziani in cui abbia mangiato così bene. Qualità del cibo eccellente, cantina vini ricercata e particolare, dolci ottimi e per finire i titolari che con armonia, professionalità, passione e Gentilezza chiudono il cerchio. Bravi

Quaint little restaurant out of the crowded tourist area. We visited this restaurant on the first day of our arrival. Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. We came back again before our departure . It is one of the best ristorante in Venice

We loved our lunch here. The dishes were simple and clean, celebrating freshness. It’s cozy little gem and we enjoyed the warm and relaxed service.

A charming 10 table hole in the wall with a multifaceted story including Serna Williams and ranging to Waitrose magazines and everything in-between. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria alle Testiere. When we originally tried to make a reservation, the only time available was late on the evening of the day we arrived in Venice. Fearing we would be too tired to appreciate the dinner, we did not take that reservation, but kept checking daily until we lucked out. A time opened up for a few days later. We were both so happy we waited and took the later time. This dinner needed to be fully appreciated and savored. The charming restaurant is quite small. We had a perfect corner table that was so romantic. The welcoming wait staff came right over to greet us. We were so excited to meet Luca di Vita and Bruno Gavagnin, the co-proprietors. Bruno is in the kitchen creating the dishes from the menu he and Luca created that morning based on what was available in the Rialto Fish Market. After speaking to Luca, we put ourselves completely in his hands. He chose our menu and paired the wine for each course. Every bite was heaven. We began with a lovely glass of Dal Maso Ca’ Fischele Gambellara Classico from the Veneto. My first dish was a warm salad with calamari and chicory hearts, while my husband began with delicious grilled razor clams. Next for me was a catchfly and ricotta ravioli with sword fish ragout, while my husband had potato gnocchetti with monkfish cheeks. Luca paired this course with a white wine from the Dolomites, Dornach 34. Next came sole fillets with citrus, spices and fine herbs for me and prawns in sweet and sour and spicy Venetian busara style for my husband. Every bite was incredibly delicious. We shared everything! The gorgeous wines we had with this course came from Sicily. I had a glass of Abissale Malvasia and my husband had a red Sparviero Nero Mascalese. With our dolce, a melt-in-your-mouth chocolate tenerina, we had 2 separate dessert wines, a yummy Riva Dei Perari and the most amazing Cappellano Barolo Chinato. We were having such a wonderful time talking with Luca that we were the last ones in the restaurant, but we couldn’t leave without thanking Bruno for the culinary delight he had created for us. This was a splurge for us, but it was worth every penny. We can’t wait to return to Venice and to Osteria alle Testiere.

Но здесь безумно душевно, возможно потому что владелец здесь же в зале, возможно потому что здесь всего 20 мест, возможно потому что с тобой шутят и тебе улыбаютсяБронь необходима, просто так с улицы не попасть.Очень рекомендую в конце ужина взять амаро Nostrano, к его рецепту приложил руку владелец ресторана...

This Michelin Guide 22 seat restaurant is definitely one of the best fish restaurants in Venice. We have booked 2 months in advance so make sure to do that at least a few weeks in advance. The restaurant closes for summer vacation between July 30 and August 29.We had the pleasure to meet Luca (Bruno was probably making art in the kitchen) and took a few photos.We started with the octopus/potatoes/Avocado salad which was delicious and then had the grilled scallops with artichoke heart. Then we shared the mixed grilled fish for two which was extraordinary!! We ended up with the Venetian Crème Caramel which by far was the best I had in my life.Thank you Luca. Thank you Bruno. We will definitely visit you next time we are in Venezia. Ciao!
