La Lisa - Casa Vacanze in Toscana / Holiday Home in Tuscany

I did one mistake with La Lisa, and that was the only mistake you can make going there, the mistake was, I have booked our family + dog staying only for 4 days, much too short for what you can find there.La Lisa:The place is very new, totally refurbished old farmhouse, small, you can rent it whole or just apartment, friendly, well furnished in old Toscana village style, nothing super fancy but very tasteful and stylish, no Ikea, really Toscana with lot of attention to details and tiny details. We have loved materials and overall care that was visibly put into making this place friendly, original and pleasant. You have a kids friendly small pool, possibility of making grill or professional pizza, owners are able to deliver for free different products out of their own farm like eggs, tomatoes etc… Capacity is about 12-13 persons so it is never crowded or noisy. View is typical Toscan village, grapes and farmhouses. It is also great place for some workshop etc with well equipped common gathering inside/outside area, so any kind of cooking till couching workshop is possible.Easy to reach by car, excellent WiFi quality, very easy to do some food shopping. General ratio cost to value is phenomenal. If you look for fancy kitchen in place, huge pool and expensive interiors, other luxury, do not go there. But if you look for friendly tranquility, peaceful family time, total relax and peace of mind with very very reasonable cost then this is the best place to charge your battery and in the same time visit best of the Toscany - see my next point.Location:Love it! Lot of landmarks and special places around, excellent guidance in multiple languages prepared by daughter of the owner - very well done Barbara! We have visited San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Castiglione d’orcin, Piaza, Montelpulciano, Monticchiello, Luciniano, Arezzo. All of them 10/10 and really deserving spending full day in. If you look for Toscana landmarks that will stay with you till end of your life those places will give you that starting from views and ending on original not China, handmade local stuff and amazing food with restaurants immersed with Michelin and others recognitions. Wine is just amazing in the area but that is obvious. We never ever had a problem with parking. On top you have famous Valdichiana Outlet Village, amazing shopping for all kind of stuff, 4 minutes drive from La Lisa. In Bettole 10 minutes drive you can find shop with local food and wines and probably best hamburger of my life made out of local beef.Owners:La Lisa will be for sure another Tuscan perfect Tranquility place, however it has on top a character. A character of its loving open hearted owners, very gentle, quiet people Fiorella and Lorenzo. They speak Italian but Lorenzo is very good in google translator usage. Their super-friendly daughter Barbara is very communicative both by phone or WhatsApp, and super supportive. This people are zero stress, total focus on making people having good stay, very down to earth, careful, attentive. You feel like visiting grandparents or parents in their summer house. Italian Pizza evening with professional traditional pizza furnace prepared by Lorenzo and his son was just outstanding, they should sell tickets to that, my kids just loved it.What I am doing here is a bit counterproductive, as this place is a hidden Gem, and I will love it to stay like this, on the other hand I wish the owners a great success as they deserve that totally. We will be back next year, but if it goes like this, you will have to book that place 6 month ahead to have a spot. Our best regards and thank you for wonderful holidays. Rafal and Family.

Un'esperienza davvero speciale!!! Barbara e suo papà Lorenzo sono stati fantastici! La Lisa è una cascina molto grande appena ristrutturata in mezzo al verde delle colline toscane. Il mio appartamento, come tutti gli altri, è completamente ristrutturato ed arredato con gusto! Materasso comodissimo e cucina dotata di ogni confort! Svegliarsi nel verde in un luogo bucolico e silenzioso non ha prezzo!! Barbara e Lorenzo mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa e ci hanno consigliato benissimo sia su dove mangiare sia sui luoghi da visitare!!! Un posto paradisiaco che consiglio e nel quale non vedo già l'ora di tornare!! Ideale sia per le famiglie che per un soggiorno romantico! Vi sentirete in paradiso!!

Posto veramente bello e accogliente...rifinito stile toscano rustico nei minimi dettagli...regnano pace e tranquillità...insomma un posticino che consiglio veramente a tutti per staccare dalla frenesia del mondo odierno.Voto 5 stelle perchè se erano 10,voto 10 stelle.

Posto bellissimo, eravamo un bel gruppone e i proprietari, molto gentili, ci hanno messo a disposizione tutto quanto il casale, composto da appartamentini in mattoni arredati con gusto e calore. Sembra di essere a casa.

An exceptional place! We even eat with them on the first night with pizza cooked on an old wood oven and was so good!The owner (Barbara) is very kind and the apartment is very beautiful.

Very kind hosts, the property served our purpose (family and friends gathering) perfectly, it was clean with everything that was needed for our events and to host our guests. We were there for a week and everyone had plenty of room. We had an amazing times thanks to Fiorella and Lorenzo!

Stayed here with a group of friends for a week. Beautiful property and location. The hosts were extremely accommodating. The house was a pleasure to live in and we thoroughly enjoyed using the large kitchen, dining area where we ate, drank and played board games. The pool was a little cold in April but lovely nonetheless. I really enjoyed cooking pizzas using the large wood fired pizza oven in the outhouse. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and overall a great place to stay.

It is magical here. A lovely, spacious villa with all the amenities you could ask for in a farmhouse setting. Even plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower! Our group of 7 kids and 4 adults were happy with the ability we had to retreat to our own quarters but then come together for a large family meal in the gigantic common area. The hosts and home owners were kind, gracious, and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
