Total and deliberate tourist trap! We gave them $300 USD and they gave us 209 Euros back. Here’s how they trick unsuspecting tourists. They list the normal exchange rate I large font then they list their “terms” in fine print. They ask you for your money and passport then they take a fixed fee of about 10 euros in addition to a commission of approximately 20%. We called the police, they came and told us they cannot do anything to force them to cancel the transaction. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Literal thieves! Once they have your money in their hands, they steal from you. Just wanted to get rid of my $400 in US currency, and they converted it to €263. When I saw what the conversion would be, I said, I didn’t want to go through with it and they refused to give me my money back. The signs are unclear, and they shared no information before starting the transaction. They insisted that even though I could still see my money on the desk and hadn’t signed anything, it was theirs now and they were going to keep it.This company should be shut down. The city of Florence should look into it since it’s stealing from their primary source of income: tourists.

Absolute rip-off: €9 fee and then 19.9% fee on top of that. My $200 USD turned in to €120 Euro. For a perspective, at the current market rate of ~1.20 USD:EUR, I lost about $55 to this scam. They don’t tell you about the fee until it’s too late.
