Amazing Lucca

Don't hesitate to share your travel adventures with Federica. I had a wonderful time hiking with her in the Alpi Apuane north of Lucca. Federica was recommended to me by a friend who did a day tour with her several months ago and I'm so glad she did. Communications were great in getting the day trip organized based on what I wanted to do. She provided a fantastic picnic lunch which we had in a wonderful spot on top of a mountain. Federica was also a very enjoyable hiking buddy for the day and easy to chat with.

We could not have asked for a better guide than Alessandro!! From the moment we met him at the start of our day until the very end he was absolutely the best! We did the Discover Chianti by bike and visited a most beautiful abbey and a local winery for a delicious lunch and tasting. The views along the way were breathtaking. He was very attentive to all our needs and kept a close eye on us so as not to separate from one another. He was especially on guard when a fast-moving short storm (possible tornado!) moved in. He swiftly got us to safety and under cover. As quickly as the storm came, it passed, and we were able to continue on our way! Alessandro is very professional, kind, alert, and fun to be around! By the end of the day it felt like we were friends! We would highly recommend him on any venture you choose.

We took 2 tours with Amazing Lucca, one was the bike ride to the Puccini lake and the other was the hiking to Palmaria Island. We thought both trips were excellent, with friendly service and we would highly recommend this company.

We have visited the wonderful town of Lucca several times and each time we have been lucky enough to organise walking and cycling tours with Federica and Alessandro from 'Amazing Lucca'. They are simply the best! They have taken us hiking in the Apuan Alps, cycling along the back roads, exploring picturesque villages and so much more. We always stop along the way for a delicious picnic of regional produce, against the backdrop of a stunning view, or an outstanding lunch in a local trattoria or vineyard - accompanied by some wine tasting :) Many of these excursions have been to out-of-the way places that we would never have found on our own. Federica and Alessandro are knowledgeable and passionate about the nature and history of the region. They are also warm and friendly people who will immediately make you feel relaxed and excited about the day's adventure. There are lots of tours you can do around Lucca but choosing 'Amazing Lucca' will allow you to see the region through the eyes of locals who love their home and genuinely love sharing it with their guests. I can't wait for my next trip!
