24 Nov 2022, we were caught in the rain but managed to board your train from Vernazza to La Spezia.After boarding, your staffs approached us immediately to check our Rail Pass while we were unable to add trip details because (1) we just rushed into the train & (2) in-train WIFI + our eSIM were both not connectable.We explained & Ms. Francesca appeared to understand our situation but the male staff whispered to her then she changed her mind & fined each of us Euro50 (for a EUR2 ticket that we failed to add details due to network issue!). She even raised her voice to our friends' 13 year old girl whom was traumatized by the whole incident. & all eyes in the same cabin were on us.We are tourists & not criminals. We do not deserve such unkind treatment & it was really unfair to impose such a steep fine - Total EUR250 for something beyond our control i.e. weather, complex app & poor network.
