The secrets of Luca's Tuscan cooking classes

Luca’s cooking class was a 10/10. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and super sweet. He made us feel right at home. We made margarita pizza, and some delicious dessert Pizza to finish off our class. All of the ingredients we cooked with were fresh local ingredients , and even some from Lucas home garden. It doesn’t get fresher than that. We enjoyed his class so much we booked a truffle hunt, and pasta making class with him as well. We enjoyed both activities, and would suggest everyone coming to Tuscany to book with Luca.

The pizza cooking class with Luca is absolutely lovely, and delicious. We had the luxury of being with the two of us and Luca, and enjoyed the personal stories, attention and knowledge of Luca. Although we speak little Italian and Luca doesn’t speak very well English, the course and stories are good to follow with help of a little translation. Luca is absolutely wonderful and gave us nice tips in the area. We wore masks when we weren’t eating, and there is desinfection gel provided. He has a wonderful wood oven pizza. The pizza is great, and antipasti as well, with lots of home made products from Luca. Would go again for a pasta course or truffle hunting when we come back !

Making pizza with Luca is an incredible experience. His family's home is hidden in the Tuscan hills. Luca was waiting outside when I arrived and we quickly went to his courtyard where he had all the ingredients laid out to start making the pizza dough. After working the dough, we went in to enjoy some wine and appetizers. We met and he shared the experiences he had in the kitchen, because he does several courses, he explained to me that in addition to pizza he does pasta and truffle hunting. Then we went back to making pizza and I really enjoyed how Luca gave simple instructions and then allowed me to perform every task which gave me the experience of really making a pizza myself. Then we put them in the stone oven, cooked them (it doesn't take long) and enjoyed the pizza. Luca has prepared a special dessert pizza to be enjoyed alongside a delicious dessert wine. It was a great experience and Luca is simply the best. I plan to visit him and his family again next time I will be in Italy and next time I will book a course to make fresh pasta. Thanks Luca, I highly recommend to go there, learn a lot and have fun with Luca !!

We feel truely grateful to have spent the day with you and have had such a genuine authentic Italian experience . The kids (10,8,6) and us adults thought you were so fun, happy and knowledgable! We cannot reccomend the experience highly enough! The kids want to come back tomorrow!

What an amazing experience with Luca for his pasta cooking class !! Luca is a lovely and passionate cooker ! He learns to us lot of things about pasta (made the perfect dought, roll it up, doing delicious raviole). He was so kind with us and shared also about tuscan products. We recommand this pasta class at 1000% !!

I made pizza with Luca last summer at his home and it was an incredible. First of all, I lucked out and was the only person who signed up for the time slot, so we spent the entire afternoon together, making pizza, eating meats and cheeses, drinking wine, and talking. Luca is very modest although he's cooked for several celebrities as a private chef. He personalizes the experience and by the end of it you feel like friends. I'll definitely be visiting him next time I'm in the area and introducing friends to his cooking experience!
