Bellorcia Tuscookany cooking school in Tuscany

One of the most amazing views in my life! A stylish villa with an almost 360 view on the beautiful mountains of Tuscany is the location where charming and professional chef Laura teaches all about preparing a delicious and beautiful Italian menu. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, while at the same time one learns a lot about Italian food, drinks, style, etc. During the day, there is also time to relax at the 'infinity pool' or go on a tour. After lunch, the cooking lessons start and end with a joint-dinner. We met wonderful people and had a lot of fun. Thank you for all!

Learning about Italy for the first time at Bellorcia with Chef Laura Giusti was an unforgettable experience. The panoramic views from the villa were gorgeous. We had time to go from there to visit neighboring medieval cities close and then come back to enjoy lunch and begin cooking. Laura used her vast experience with Italian food and technical skills along with her humor to guide us through the food and wines of Italy. I could not have asked for a better introduction to this amazing country. It was the highlight of our three week time there and something I would definitely repeat. Ciao" and deepest thanks."

Picture perfect week!I attended the one-week Italian course at Tuscookany’s Bellorcia property (June 2022). I had previously done the three-day Italian cooking course with Chef Franco at Torre del Tartufo many years ago, which I had really enjoyed. I was very much looking forward to returning to Tuscookany to do their one-week course at a different villa. Bellorcia is such a picturesque property with gorgeous views and is beautifully decorated. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by Chef Laura and Alex and was made to feel right at home. The week was well structured to allow for time to relax, to explore the area and to cook! Chef Laura’s cooking classes were fun, extensive, and comprehensive. Her patience with her students, expertise, and passion for what she does were wonderful to witness. Loved her! And the food was delicious! We were a small group (5 guests); this made for an intimate and fun experience with great conversation. I attended my one-week course alone. Alex and Lena were helpful to organize transportation for me from the train station to the villa. I never once felt lonely—the friendships you create with the other guests and the Tuscookany team are what make their vacations so special. If you stay at Bellorcia, make sure to take a moment to stop and enjoy every sunset, they are truly one of a kind!The Tuscookany hospitality is unmatched—their care and attention for their guests make for truly unforgettable experience. Their vacations are worth every penny in my opinion. I highly recommend.

This Tuscan cooking destination far exceeded our expectations! The villa was gorgeous - everything I'd imagined a Tuscan villa would look like. Our room was huge! Massive bath tub, shower, desk area, log burning fireplace, seating area by the fire and every window had the most magnificent view of rolling Tuscan Hills. Laura Giusti, the chef was amazing, we all loved her. She was fun, she was informative and a great teacher. Laura worked so hard and was always very happy to help us and join in the fun. We learnt many incredible recipes, that we have been cooking and sharing with our friends since we got home. I am gluten and wheat intolerant and let me assure you, if you or anyone in your family has any special dietary needs, fear not, they went over and beyond to accommodate me and taught me how to make the most incredible pasta and pizza dough as well as other delicious gluten free cakes and pies that Laura made for us. We can't give this place enough stars for it's excellence. We'll definitely return and can't praise enough, all the hard work this team does to make it a vacation of your dreams. Truly a trip of a lifetime!My husband and I spent the second half of our honeymoon at Bellorcia for the one-week Italian cooking course, and we could not be happier. The Tuscookany team made us feel so welcome and offered us the primary bedroom to celebrate our honeymoon, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The views from every window of this villa are spectacular. Cooking classes with chef Laura will never be forgotten. Her expertise, passion, patience and welcoming smile and laugh made every class memorable. My husband and I walked away with many new skills, recipes and memories to last a lifetime. I would highly recommend a stay at Bellorcia for anyone who loves breathtaking sunsets and learning to cook with new friends and a chef that quickly become more like family.
