If you are going to stay for a short time and use this location as a tourist that has plans to visit the city and other locations in Sorento I would not recommend this place. Since it is on the hill and not in the city center. Of course they have free shuttle, however it is not always working based on a busy tourist's schedule. However if you are there to stay longer and relax and enjoy the beautiful view it is a clean hotel with good food and amazing view. We traveled to Italy for two weeks we stayed in five cities and we visited maybe 14 small and big cities, we used train, bus and taxi services, we tried their fancy restaurants, and street food, I am saying this sort summary just to express my personal experience about Italian people, we met hundreds of people and used their services, everybody in Italy was nice, friendly and helpful, the only two people who were exception in this category were one the person at the front desk at this hotel that was not friendly at all and he has no idea how to communicate with a tourist. No smile and no eye contact. And the waiter at the restaurant. They were not welcoming and not helpful. Thank God they were not our first impression of Italy.

Y'all. The view is amazing here at the hotel. The pool is amazing. Yes ... To the Bar and Staff. The rooms was amazing. I definitely will tell any one to stay here. The staff was so nice to us after a long first day in Sorrento. They have shuttles that take you from the hotel into the bus station. Check out my YouTube channel my name is Sweetnessrima on there

Views are fantastic, rooms clean breakfast extensive, however evening meal was disappointing, we had hoped that we would be treated to the best Italian cuisine, it never happened, such a pity some meals were inedible. Such a shame beautiful location in a beautiful town but you should eat in town.

A Travel Lodge with a view. Do you really want to stay in Sorrento? Town is very busy lots of bad food at high prices and some great food at high prices. Narrow streets with lots of lemon themed tat and trinkets. There are no restaurants with a sea view in town aside of the Hotels which are perched along the cliffs. When we walked into the room I was reminded of a Travel Lodge with a great view and a nice pool. The Hotel is at the top of a hill and there is transport into town. We booked half board (big mistake). Bedding is tired but clean; Pillows are hard and lumpy bed is hard but comfortable. There is a large balcony. The views of the bay of Naples are amazing. The balconies are not separated so next door can see into your room. It worked for us as the kids were next door. The naked lady next door had a surprise! The kids 20 and 23 room was small. Apparently we had been upgraded. Their ‘Art’ was posters on the wall. Shower was good and the room was kept clean.FoodWe had hoped that we would be delighted by some Italian fresh produce and culinary expertise. I concur with Stewart Woodruffs post.Breakfast -fruit, yogurt was OK allot of tinned stuff. Cheap juice. Cakes were inedible, style over substance or deserts from the night before. Specifically our deserts that we sent back on the first night came out for the following 2 days. No one else liked them either it seems. If it rains the terrace is closed ( Health and Safety) or because they cannot be bothered to clean the puddles up and wipe the 12 or so tables down. Lazy and wastes one of the assets of the place which is the view.Supper - We only ate once in the restaurant even though we were half board. The food was appalling. I spoke with the Restaurant manager and the Hotel Manager both of whom were basically indifferent to our comments even as we checked out 10 days later. Jet2 reps were also ineffective and blamed the hotel, hotel blamed Jet 2.StaffThe young members of staff were good rooms were cleaned well. After we complained we were definitely discriminated against at breakfast. Left standing waiting for a table; Requests for drinks were ignored. On the morning of my wife’s birthday we came down late 9.30. The terrace had been shut but the doors were open and the terrace was dry. We decided to sit outside the doors. A manager came and banged on the table and said “ you cannot sit here, If you sit out here then everyone will want too”! We challenges his conduct and the unpleasantness ended with no breakfast and my wife in tears. Happy 51st!Spa is a chargeable extra and never open we had a look in and it was small and unappealing.GymA running machine that jolts and a broken multi - gym.Summary - This is not a 4 Star hotel in any way shape or form. Good view, nice pool, crap food, Very Poor Leadership - at the end of the day the hotel owners and manager are allowing chefs and staff to deliver a poor experience to maximise profit. If you are going for 2 days B&B it is OK. If longer, look elsewhere Sorrento is a victim of its own success. We hired a car from Vivarent - managed to get fully covered for damage. Amalfi coast is far nicer. Nerano was a great village recommended by one of the young waiters with a beach. Great views lots of options for food. Mary’s was great. We went 3 times. Praiano was also nice. Pirata Cafe was expensive but a great location. If you end up here and want to escape to real Italy but don’t mind a walk (steps are steep and need repairs) there are two places to eat up the steps to the left of the entrance car park. The first is a tavernary type place. Le Colline. Paper plates but great food and prices. The best Ravioli we had in 10 days! There is a second Da Gaetano is further to walk 25 mins which was excellent and has great views. Make sure your torch is working for the walk home.

we booked this hotel last minute during our trip in August and spent 1 night, it’s awkward to get to however for the price (specially compared to other hotels in the area) it is really really worth it, the view is stunning; the pool is great and cocktails were beautiful. the dinner setting was really nice in the evening too, the room itself was clean but very basic & the lift could do with upgrading however overall I enjoyed my time here and would 100% return. brilliant value for money !

Hotel is in a great location and the view are beautiful. We went with jet 2 and I paid quite a bit extra for a sea view. When we got there our room was under neath the pool, so we felt disconnected from the hotel we also couldn’t see over the wall so we did not have a view that we paid for! We could only see the sea if we stood on the actual wall itself. Pool area is beautiful but the pool was not heated and very cold. Food was pretty good although portions were small for the evening meal. Staff behind the bar were always friendly. The shuttle bus driver was probably the best driver I’ve ever seen, having the drive up and down the small road every day, hats off to him. We had a very good holiday overall. But the rooms below the pool shouldn’t even exist.
