Avis Autonoleggio - Milano Aeroporto Linate

I wasn't going to leave a review but Avis asked me so here it is:If you must rent at Linate Airport, it is what it is.Expect to feel pretty unwelcome. The parking is difficult to find with the elevator map looking like a maze and then you have to walk a long ramp uphill for one floor, with all your luggage.Be very careful because the parking is designed for you to damage your car on the wall. I didn't but the people in front of me did (and I had to wait for them to sign all paperwork before I returned my car).It's also extremely difficult to find the car parking location to return the car. Signage conflict with bus lanes and a very strange road path. (Can't blame Avis for that as it's airport roadworks, but I guess they could complain and request proper signage)

Worst Avis experience I've ever had- wish I had read these reviews prior to booking. I've been a long time Avis customer and have never had a problem with them until renting a car from the Milan airport. They gave me a car that was covered in dents, scuffs and scratches, and when I returned the vehicle they claimed I had caused a scuff and then proceeded to charge me $250+ for it. Reading other reviews this seems to be a common theme at this specific location. I would advise others to avoid this location at all costs, and if you must rent from them- be sure to take plenty of pictures and document because they will take any excuse to try and lie and screw you over. Very disappointed in this location- it's run by a bunch of thieves.

Very easy rental experience from Budget at Milan Linate. Efficient helpful staff, nice car and good price. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent service and a great car. No queues despite renting and returning on busy weekends. Really helpful and friendly people. My only negative is the car rental return signage at Linate Airport which I am sure is not Budget's responsibility. Thank you.

Rented a car as President's Club member just before Christmas, Even if in deep high season, the guy at the counter managed to offer a couple of choices in order to meet - exceed, I have to say - my requirements (I asked for an automatic transmission model due to a wrist injury occurred a couple of days before). He was kind, informative and extremely professional. The car was not impeccable, some wear and tear due to not so low mileage. The drop-off was really smooth and pleasant, same professional attitude of the guy there. Excellent service, thanks guys!

Noleggiato ad agosto un Alfa Giulia veloce .l'auto mi è stata consegnata non lavata e piena di sfrisi e botte. Le foto che pubblico sono dopo averla lavata e passata con il polish essendo che mi serviva per un incontro di rappresentanza di lavoro. Contattato sia l'assistenza telefonica mandato email è lamentato anche nellasede linate , la risposta e è stata appunto di contattare tramite email l'assistenza. Non ho mai ricevuto nessuna risposta.servizio indecente sconsiglio a chiunque

Noleggiare la macchina con Budget è stata una piacevole esperienza, personale gentile e preparato…auto in perfette condizioni.Il prossimo noleggio sarà sicuramente con loro.

Normally I rate Avis as the best car rental company. However, they have started selling pre-paid vouchers at a discount when booking online. What they don't tell you is the costs if your travel plans change - they are quick to charge you if you extend your rental, but you do not get any refund if you shorten your journey - this left me over £300 out of pocket due to business trip changes.

3/23/22 - As of 4 days after this event, I am still being charged roughly 900 euros for this ridiculously small scratch on the windshield, have made many attempts to contact the Linate Avis office with no luck, and have had no support in reconciling Avis' absurd charge. I reiterate, do not rent from this location. It honestly feels like a scam.This was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. Upon returning the car to Linate, there was no one at the rental return to receive the car/keys. The next day, I received an email saying we are being charged roughly 900 euros for what appears to be a minor scratch on the front windshield of the rental car (in image), a scratch so small that it could not feasibly be picked up in the photos we took prior to driving off with the car. During our time with the car, we did not notice any damage to the windshield and did not cause any damage to the windshield. Even if we did cause the damage, 900 euros for a scratch due to something that could e considered normal wear and tear is egregious.On top of that, the office has been impossible to reach to work this out with them.Do not rent from this Avis location.
