Beware of taxi drivers and buying tickets online.We bought our ferry tickets online the day before. When we arrived with our luggage, the waters were too rough for any boats to go out. A taxi driver harassed us incessantly insisting we let him give us a ride. Desperate for transportation to Sorrento we ultimately agreed. He ripped us off and charged us €140 (€35/person) to take us directly to Sorrento.Seriously he wouldn’t leave us alone. We politely said no and he followed us around for a solid 15 minutes, convincing us it would take longer and be more expensive to take the train. His meter said €80 when we arrived on Sorrento, so he absolutely jipped us.Don’t take a taxi from the port if there are rough waters. Don’t buy tickets online. They wouldn’t even refund me at the window, I have to submit an online inquiry. And try and bargain with the taxi driver and refuse to pay the high price they initially give. Maybe then they’ll leave you alone.

1 way Ferry ticket to Sorrento is 13.2 euros. The Ferry and the personal was great. We enjoyed it too much.P.s. minus 1 star (i am not giving a bad review because of the ⛴️ experience) because the seller said 2 tickets= 27 euros (he wanted to take 60 cents for himself). Then I noticed it and i said why we gave 27 when it it 26.4 euros. He was shocked because we noticed that he cheated us, so he gave back 60 cents.

Messy system but it works.

We tried to pre book tickets to Capri knowing that it would be busy in the morning. Once in Ischia when we got there and at 4pm back in Naples. On both occasions I was given a rude no! We arrived the next day at 8am 830 930 booked out leaving at 1030. If I could I buy competition to show this mob how to be of service.

The port is loud, dirty and not well organized.Absolutely bad organized lines to different ferries. A small sign would make a huge difference, but those high-tech things are not in mind of these companies.Oh Nice to know btw, Alilauro charges 2.5€ extra for a big luggage!The boats are not that bad, but overall not a nice experience.
