Borgo 69 Villas & Suites

A fabulous holiday experience!As a family with our 12-year old daughter and our dog we spent in August 2021 a week at Borgo69 Villas Suites and like to share our truly fantastic experience.Borgo69 is the latest project of the renamed hospitality gurus Paolo & Philip that have brought ‘informal luxury’ to Tuscany 20 years ago with their charming Villa Fontelunga.The new building comprising of 12 Villa Suites of different sizes and layouts, a restaurant (opening soon) with wine cellar and local produce grocery store and an amazing infinity pool. It is beautifully located between Arezzo and Siena on a hill in Pozzo della Chiana overlooking the Val di Chiana.Our Villa Suite was clean, spacious and had an authentic Tuscan feel while offering all mod cons of big comfortable baths, showers, central heating, TV, DVD player, etc.When we arrived everything was carefully prepared to start our holiday as soon as we walked into the place. Paolo & Philip were very welcoming and as they lived close by at Villa Fontelunga, when we needed help with a minor thing it was fixed in a matter of minutes. The fact that one day we came home from a day trip and there was a freshly baked pie and a bottle of wine waiting for us on the terrace, shows how important it was for them to make sure our experience was the best possible.The infinity swimming pool was well maintained and this was done early in the morning so we could always swim in a clean pool as soon as the sun made us wish to do so. The views from the pool are just spectacular.The wonderful cities of Arezzo, Cortona and Montepulciano were only a short drive away and from the location of Borgo69, but even Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano or the fashion Outlets can be reached in less than 1 hour drive. So the location of Borgo69 is not just good to visit the local town but for anyone who wants to explore Tuscany as a whole. The carefully curated recommendations of Paolo and the team on restaurants and sights were extremely helpful to experience the best of Tuscany.On all levels, it was a perfect holiday. We'd definitely return here.

This is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! The style of the villas is contemporary and the location is simply breathtaking. Would recommend to anyone.

Spent a couple nights here and these are beautiful accommodations. Paolo and Philip are the ultimate hosts! Make you feel like part of the family. The views are nice and peaceful and you are close to some lovely towns as they suggested for exploring. There restaurant recommendations are spot on too!This is the Tuscany you want to know!Must return to spend a bit more time here and some further countryside exploring. Do it!!

Absolutely Stunning! The location is perfect and tranquil, the Villa was so beautiful and well equipped and laid out. The pool had the most spectacular view and above beyond we’re each of the very friendly and beautiful staff. Thank you for making our stay so amazing!

What a beautiful place in the Tuscan countryside. We absolutely loved our one bedroom villa with lovely view towards Cortona. Each villa has a working fireplace which is a great place to have a glass of wine once we were back hit from our daily sightseeing. Breakfast is served daily at Emporio di Ines and there is a shop as well selling local produce, and especially extra-virgin olive oil from the farm . We are already looking forward to come back in summertime to lay by the infinity pool.

Meravigliosa struttura di nuova realizzazione situata nel cuore della Val di Chiana, gestita da persone squisite quali Paolo e Philip, e dalla eccezionale Roberta, sempre presente e cordiale. Le ville sono disposte su due piani, dotate di ogni comfort e con rifiniture di alta qualità. Presente una piscina a sfioro sulla valle, fiore all'occhiello di tutta la struttura. Manca il ristorante che è in fase di completamento. Buona la pulizia giornaliera. Posto strategico per rilassarsi e per visitare le città e i borghi della Val di Chiana. Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere.
