Molto bello... Colazione abbondante di varie cose,molto gentili è disponibili.. posizione top avendo vicino vaie partenze dei vaporetti Venezia e le varie Isole.

Posto molto suggestivo dove i miei genitori vanno da almeno 30 anniAbbiamo voluto portare mia figlia per farle vedere un luogo con il tipo aspetto delle vecchie case e locande venezianeAccoglienza gentileRapporto qualità/servizi/prezzo un po’ sproporzionatoLa prima sera abbiamo atteso più di mezz ora seduti al tavolo solo per L ordinazioneUno dei calici di rosè era a malapena fresco e la porzione di pesce un po’ ridottaLa seconda sera non ci hanno portato una delle ordinazioni e uno dei primi era sbagliato, purtroppo non tutti i camerieri capiscono bene L italianoLa colazione dovrebbe offrire più sceltaPurtroppo i materassi nella mia camera avevano alcune molle molto dure che erano in superficie cosa non piacevole :(Uno dei bagni molto piccolo e nell altro mancava il bidet (cosa me mi aspetto di trovare in Italia) ma solo il tubo con cui lavarsi direttamente sulla tazza dal quale però usciva solo acqua gelata.Vista ovviamente mozzafiato se si ha la camera con affaccio sul canale della giudecca

DO NOT SUPPORT THESE HEARTLESS PEOPLE. When my stepfather died in July and my 84 year old mother wanted to cancel the two-night reservation 6 weeks ahead(!) of the booking date, they told her it was non-refundable but they would 'do their best' to re-rent the room. My mother had stayed at their place in the past many times but that didn't matter to them. In the end, they said they were only able to 'partially' re-rent the room and refunded less than onethird of the room-price. They also suggested that they keep the money towards a future booking. You should be ashamed of yourself, La Calcina. I wonder how people like you look at yourselves in the mirror.

Hotel La Calcina
We found it much quieter staying here rather than on the Grand Canal. The view was actually better with the wider Giudecca Canal.We had the corner room with terrace on the first floor. The terrace was lovely in the morning but, for summer, it was a little hot in the afternoon until dusk - when it was the perfect place to take photos! The location is also close to the easternmost point of Dorsoduro which is highly recommended for sunrise photo ops.The hotel and room were very clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfasts tasty. They organised our 5.30am taxi driver, who met us as reception and took my bag for me, and they gave us a packed breakfast. The staff were all very courteous and happy to suggest places to eat and visit. There are a number of very good restaurants to the west of the hotel, including an exceptional gelaterie artiginale well worth visiting (more than once!).It is close enough to everything without you being surrounded by tourists all the time which we were grateful for. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel La Calcina
Martina at the front was so helpful, amazing, and accommodating. She took pictures for us and gave us Prosecco when we arrived. And anytime we asked questions she always had a very kind response. I had some health questions and she directed us to the nearest open pharmacy at night, and how it worked. Breakfast was amazing. The room and the view was fantastic. We very much enjoyed our night there!!!

Che dire.... Servizi ottimo.. Personale staff eccellente. Gentilissimi. E disponibili sempre. Ottima colazione e ampia scelta. Camera pulitissima. E ottima vista. Sicuramente i miei prossimi soggiorni saranno sicuramente alla Calcina e consiglio anche il ristorante. Ottimo terrazzo da cene in relax. E tanta qualità. Grazie mille la Calcina.. 13 08. 2022

Hotel La Calcina
The hotel is located at a low traffic area of Venice. The rooms are large and updated. The resturant and breakfast are wonderful. The staff could not be any nicer. The only issue was the wifi didn't work for 3 days that I was there. Not having wifi today is about like not having running water.

Da ogni punto vista l'esperienza alla Calcina è unica e ineccepibile. L'accoglienza in questo hotel ricco di storia e di fascino rendono il soggiorno indimenticabile. Non si pensa ad altro che ad organizzare qui, e presto, il prossimo soggiorno. Top!

First of all, my original reservation had to be cancelled because I got COVID, and the management was kind enough to credit the stay on my new reservation. Secondly, the hotel is in the most perfect location, the rooms are charming with all the things one could need, and the staff are all very friendly and courteous. Looking forward to my next trip!

Hotel La Calcina
I had a lovely experience at this Hotel. Located in a great spot just a few minutes walk from the Guggenheim and the Accademia stop, I enjoyed a clean and charming single room with a private bathroom that was across the hall. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the breakfast was definitely worth it, especially after staying at several cheaper options throughout the country. A great gelateria is just around the corner as well. Highly recommended!
