Our little family group of 4 were lucky enough to join one of Enoteca Marilu’s market day cooking classes in the atmospheric Tuscan hill town of San Miniato. Hosted by the delightful foodie icon and cookbook author Emiko Davies and her lovely husband ( & wine expert extraordinaire) Marco Lami, the experience was an absolute treat and a highlight of our 5 weeks in Italy. Emiko & Marco were generous, patient and marvellous company as they steered us through the simple pleasures- appreciation of local produce, what to look for at the market, pasta making, preparing multiple courses and gathering around a table together to share it all. Enoteca Marilu itself is atmospheric and classy- the perfect backdrop for this unique experience.
