Cascina Brichat Alta Langa

Per il nostro fine settimana nelle langhe abbiamo scelto la parte alta di questo bellissimo territorio, soggiornando presso la cascina Brichat. La gentilezza e l'efficienza di Luisita e di Beppe, che ci hanno fornito suggerimenti e indicazioni utilissimi per conoscere al meglio il loro territorio, prenotando per noi anche ristoranti e visite guidate in cantina, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno una bellissima vacanza. Le camere da letto della struttura si affacciano direttamente sulla collina dell'alta Langa, piena di boschi e in questo periodo in particolare di colori straordinari. Un'ultima menzione merita la buonissima colazione di Luisita, a base di prodotti artigianali e squisite torte fatte in casa. Ancora grazie! Marcello e Francesca

Ho soggiornato nel weekend insieme a mia sorella e mia mamma (per festeggiare il suo compleanno).Preferirei tenere questo posticino solo per noi ma è giusto condividere le cose belle e qui ce ne sono davvero moltissime.Dalla pulizia delle camere (con un letto comodissimo e grande, cosa non da poco!), alla genuina e buonissima colazione fatta solo con prodotti naturali. Ma la vera differenza è l'estrema gentilezza di Luisita e Beppe che si sono dimostrati sempre disponibili. Ci sembra di conoscerli da una vita! Luisita ci ha fatto itinerari completi per tre giorni, con consigli preziosi. Ci torneremo sicuramente con piacere.

Cascina da 5 stelle sotto tutti i punti di vista. Un luogo di pace e relax. La camera pulitissima e curata nei particolari. Colazione a km zero con tutti i dolci preparati in casa (buonissimi). Inoltre l' accoglienza della signora Luisita è speciale. Io e mio marito festeggiavamo l' anniversario di matrimonio e ci hanno preparato una bella sorpresa. Non vediamo l' ora di tornare alla prossima occasione

Colazione buona.La proprietaria ci ha accoltoin maniera sgarbata, zero cordialità e ospitalità, abbiamo avvisato del nostro ritardo e solamente al nostro arrivo ci è stato detto di un supplemento, caro! Come anche il cambio degli asciugamani a pagamento.É no signora Luisa non ho sbagliato struttura, siete proprio voi, ci ha anche chiamato per chiedere di cancellare la recensione. We enjoyed a lovely stay on the in the Piemontese countryside. With a splendid view over de hills with nuttrees and grapes from our balcony. Tranquility and hospitality are keywords for the owners of the property.We were introduced by Lucia the owner and host to her Cascina. We got a map with a summary of highlights of the Langhe area. “If you have seen this, you have seen the Langhe”, and she was proven right. No tedious routes and commercial intentions but straight to the core of hospitality. “Born out of passion” as she explained it.The breakfast (colazione) is typical Italian. Very rich and divers, with toasted bread, cheese, ham and fruit from the region. Every morning different fresh baked cakes and other ‘dolce’. On request fresh boiled or baked eggs and of course great coffee to go with it.The rooms are clean, simple and stylish but not overdone. The smallest room we had was more than big enough for two people and even had a small space to enjoy the outside sitting inside in case of rain. We were lucky and enjoyed the sun. Even with 30-35 degrees the sun was never too intense in the rooms that contain no airco.In case of overheating you can use the swimming pool. Well positioned at the edge of the hill. From it you can oversee the hills of the Langhe area, however not of olympic measures so great for a refreshing plunge not for long distance swimming.The owners helped us not only with touristical highlights, also they made splendid reservations at well-known and hidden gems in the neighbourhood. Great service, great hospitality.

With panaromic views of the surrounding vineyards and slopping hills and mountains, this hideaway resort is the perfect place to unwind. As you escape the busy towns for peace and quiet, you have the opportunity to truly experience the beautiful natural surroundings from a deck chair or the pool. Be sure to add Cascina Brichat Alta Langa to your holiday bucket list.Inside Cascina Brichat: Chic and TraditionThe owners, Luisita and her husband are a very heart-warming couple, full of love and life. They can take you back in time as they share stories and the history of the local area and property, as well as recommend the best hikes, wineries, and restaurants around (be sure to check out URI). We stayed in the Master Suite, which is very large and comfortable 2 bedroom room, with plenty of natural light and a long balcony. The room décor is very well designed and reinforces a great balance between chic and tradition. Every night we slept like babies and peacefully woke up to the sound of nature. The service here is geared around a high personal touch and with only 3 bedrooms, it is extremely well delivered within a reasonable price point.Experiencing Farm to TableAt Cascina Brichat meals times are more of a mini celebration, especially as you dine from a beautiful 50’s style dinning set. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel in Italy (or outside of Asia) where I have been asked what I would like for breakfast each day, this is reflection of the type of personalised service you receive here. All the ingredients are from their local farm or surrounding farms, each plate is lovingly made and presented in a small Italian tapas style, with a burst of local flavours—all made fresh by Luisita and her husband. This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten in Italy. Even though I don’t eat egg or meat, this was no problem, it was not a limiting factor. In fact, they even went to the trouble of making a different eggless cake for us each morning.The Beauty of PiedmontItaly is one of my favourite countries to visit, due to the energies and flair of the locals, and let’s not forget the delicious food and drink. Yet this region is not like any other I have experienced before. For me, it’s a greener, hillier and less commercial version of Tuscany, but you still have all the luxury and choice of amenities and restaurants. This region is a gem and as it is only a 4.5 hour drive from Zurich, I cannot wait to visit again.

Cascina meravigliosa, ottima posizione in Alta Langa per raggiungere tutti i bellissimi siti delle Langhe. Immersa nel verde, perfetta per chi cerca pace, tranquillità e aria buona. Un caloroso ringraziamento lo dobbiamo a Luisita che ci ha coccolati per tutto il soggiorno. Vi saprà consigliare i migliori itinerari e ristoranti della zona. Cascina Brichat è un esempio di ospitalità nel cuore delle Langhe. Luisita e Giuseppe i padroni di casa perfetti, disponibili e discreti allo stesso tempo. Le camere pulite e spaziose sono il giusto mix tra tradizione e contemporaneità. La cascina, di cui si respira l'originale struttura, è stata sapientemente arricchita di piacevoli dettagli che ti fanno sentire a casa. La vista sulle colline al risveglio viene completata da una ricca e casalinga colazione per iniziare al meglio la giornata. Speriamo di tornare in primavera per poter godere anche degli spazi esterni e della piscina vista Langhe.

Erica O. Ho trascorso un weekend con degli amici in questo incantevole luogo, molto tranquillo, curato e ben tenuto. È stato veramente rilassante. La posizione è ideale per visitare i bei borghi delle Langhe. Esperienza da rifare e condividere.

Una cascina recuperata con stile senza alterarne la sua essenza. Un posto immerso nella natura incontaminata dell'alta Langa. La presenza di gestori squisiti che ti coccolano come si farebbe con uno di famiglia. Una colazione semplice e genuina e la presenza di tre sole stanze che fanno sì che ti possa veramente rilassare. Sono questi i punti forti di cascina brichat che meritano di essere scoperti. La suite con terrazza,un gioiellino.
