Sempre un piacere immenso...Simone e il suo staff sono davvero meravigliosi. La cucina è semplicemente da sogno. Gli ingredienti di primissima scelta. L'amore per la ristorazione trasuda! Il servizio eccellente, la carta dei vini..un paradiso!..Malborghetto patrimonio Nazionale! Da provare assolutamente.

Wow! Wow! Wow! an amazing experience. First of all the chef is welcoming and very nice. The food was the most delicious food we ate in Italy. You feel that the chef thought about every single detail in the food. Do yourself a favor and run there!

Just perfect. Such a beautiful and well maintained location. Delicious food, marvelous drinks, outstandingly friendly and welcoming service. You can feel that the owners are passionate about hospitality.One of the best restaurants we visited on our vacation.

This restaurant setting, facility, dishes, and the chef are all amazing. Located in the beautiful Tuscan village of Lecchi in Chianti the restaurant has dining space on two floors which adds to the open and quaint atmosphere. Pastas, wild boar, rabbit, beef, salads and sides were all memorable for our group. Definitely try an appetizer or dish with the fresh truffle…..excellent. Wine selection is very respectable as are the drinks offered. Definitely try the Irish Coffee…best I have ever had anywhere.

Loved it here...very charming restaurant and friendly owner. We started with a porcini sformatino and then with baccala and ceci and an umbricelli with aglione sauce. Paired with a local wine from Gaiole in Chianti. We will be back, especially when the outdoor tables are open

My partner and I were on holidays and had tried a couple of underwhelming restaurants with mediocre food (and service). We thought our Tuscany dream wouldn't be fulfilled. Until we stumbled upon Ristorante Malborghetto. We felt we made the right choice just pulling into the carpark... the food smelt (and tasted) amazing. What really impressed us is Chef Simone, he was everywhere serving food, replying to our emails and in the kitchen! All with a friendly smile. We sat outside and it was really lovely. Wine, truffle, pasta, tiramasu - perfection. Thank you from Australia (Cain and Gabby)

Amazing ambiance. The staff was so caring, so kind, so warm. The chef brings your food out to your table and makes you just feel special. Speaks fluent English and didn’t make me feel a type of a way for not speaking fluent Italian when I messed up pronunciations. And then the food. LORD. I ordered the duck pici and beef tartare with truffles and burrata. Previously hated truffles, and now I’m a changed woman. Run don’t walk!!!

I wish we could give more than 5 stars- this was truly a highlight of our trip. Coming from New York, we have a high expectation of food and this was our favorite restaurant of the trip (even after being in Rome and Florence). You feel like you are dining at someone’s home. Simone and the staff make you feel so welcomed. It is truly rustic Italian food that blew away our expectations- pasta, steak, ravioli, tiramisu. It was amazing start to finish. We enjoyed the food so much our first night we came back for a second time during our stay in Tuscany. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough and will definitely be visiting again. Recommendations- bruschetta, gargenelli with meat sauce, grilled vegetables, steak, and tiramisu.

Excellent food, wine selection, and service. The truffles with eggs and the Bolognese were delicious. Loved the liver and pork meatballs, too. The rabbit was very tasty but has lots of tiny bones. Finally, the chocolate soufflé? Wow!!!
